I love the color pencils

I havent even used these pencils yet. Im actually quite afraid to because they are so expensive and they are much lighter than I expected too. ***update 2017*** After a year and a half of buying these, I decided to finally give them a try. I changed my 5 star review to 3 stars. Although they sharpen well, even the tiniest bit of pressure will break off the sharp tip, at least the leads dont break like prismacolors. They do blend with prisma which is great, however, I prefer prismacolors color variety over these. I dont feel that these lay down as smooth as prismacolor. Maybe its just me, or maybe I used these on the wrong type of paper (Bristol), but these dont seem like they are worth the very high price. I do advise watching YouTube demos of these pencils. I sure need to go back over a few to make sure Im using these pencils to the best of their abilities. Do t want to waste these babies.

For the price I was a bit hesitant to purchase these pencils but I had heard a lot of good things and read reviews stating how excellent they were that I finally decided to go for it. Presentation wise the packaging is a bit lacking being that its cardboard but they are well protected by a foamy padded material (it would have also been nice if you could slide the trays out somehow instead of lifting each layer out). The pencils themselves are gorgeous and you can really see the craftsmanship put into each of them. Performance is where these really shine however, they have almost a smooth pastel like feel that allows them to blend and layer like a dream. I read that these are wax based pencils so there is a tiny bit of bloom when layering but it’s not really noticeable. I was also able to sharpen each pencil to a fine point point without any breakage which really surprised me. The price is a bit steep but these pencils are as good as advertised, I’d recommend buying a few of these as they’re sold open stock and try them out if you’re on the fence.

Love these pencils, worth the price.

Came across these pencils through a review through YouTube. They seem like amazing pencils and are one of the neat. So I decided to purchase a set to try it out. The overall presentation is very nice and well package to protect the pencils. There are 2 things that lead to the rating given. First one is that the blender immediately snapped in two when I was sharping it. The other reason is that the price is too high. They are great pencils, yes, but the price isn’t justices for them. Polychromos are expensive but you truly get your moneys worth as you get a larger variety of colors and pencils for the same price. Overall, amazing pencils but the price is not justified.
