> 3 dayThese pencils are spectacular but I have recieved a few defective pencils that seem to be disconnected from the wooden barrel. One is seemingly off center. It is most unfortunate that one is an important color for nature work. #046 Cassel Earth. #508 Paynes Grey has the same issue. I hope to get a response, and hopefully a replacement pencil, as this is a wonderful set at the end of the day.

> 3 dayCuando los tomas en tus manos y empiezas a trabajar con ellos sientes que en realidad valió la pena haber pagado el precio que valen y para completar también adquirí la caja de Luminance 20 Portrait.

Greater than one weekMine arrived in perfect condition and was delivered weeks faster than expected. I was surprised by how light these pencils are to hold even though they are a bit thicker than others Ive used. This definitely makes it easier to do light layers. The blenders are heavier, which makes sense. The colors are gorgeous. Im happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayC’aran D’ache Luminance are very soft (comparable to Prismacolor) and blends quite easily and well. The C’aran D’ach quality is top notch in tne market, higher than most other top brands avaliable. It sharpens well withouth too much cracks and broken tips during tne process (in this way is much better than Prismacolor). I have most of BIG sets of best brands, and this one specifically is one of the best.

Greater than one weekIve been wanting a set of these for a couple of years, but could never justify the cost. Im not an artist, just a colorist. Already have prisma, polychormos, and pablos, so why should I fork that amount of money for a set of pencils? If you are like me, you already have tried every other cheap and semi expensive pencil for kicks, found some you like, but are always wanting to add more. Then youve seen the videos and art work with these and just well, have to try them at some point. Well, here is my honest review for what its worth. Pros. The colors lay down beautifully, they are softer than polychoromos, harder that prisma, they are butter smooth. They will take layer after layer after layer, dark to light, light to dark, they dont mind a bit. If layering isnt for you they burnish well with just a single layer. They blend great with all my other pencils, even with polychormos being oil. They preform like polychromos at holding a point for a longer time than prisma. Not one problem in sharping. Shipping and packing was great. Cons. The biggest one was my first though, and its the cost. Even open stock the cheapest Ive found is going to cost me almost 5 bucks to replace one pencil. Its going to make using them a lot stay in the back of my mind every time I pick one up. Even though they hold a point for longer than prisma, I found that Im so scared to put a longer point on them for fear of breaking them, I just dont do it. So in essence I find my self always sharping. My other small complaint it the colors palette. For me, at least there are to many muted colors, and not near enough blues, greens, browns and yellows. Final thoughts. Would I purchase this set again? NO, but Im glad I have them. Now if they came out with a larger set for the same price, with more bright colors, heck yes Id really save up and get them. I just know there are more colors in this set Ill never use. So for me at least that was a waste.

> 3 dayWhere to start! I have been on a cloud since these arrived! Speaking of...I ordered mine through the UK Global store and at the time paid 20USD less. At first the expected delivery date was two weeks out but they were sent DHL express mail and arrived in 4 days to Colorado from the UK!!! I was more than pleased!! The packaging on the Luminance is exquisite so no damage at all. They arrived in perfect condition including the box. They are exactly and more what I hoped for. It took me awhile to convince my husband I needed these and so thrilled I did! They lay down like butter..just glide on paper and so vibrant! I work with adult coloring books and the Luminance have really upped my game! I also own Primacolor Premiers and Faber Castell Polychromes and both are amazing to work with but the Luminance are a dream! I would highly recommend these!!!! Over the MOON!!
