> 3 dayCame across these pencils through a review through YouTube. They seem like amazing pencils and are one of the neat. So I decided to purchase a set to try it out. The overall presentation is very nice and well package to protect the pencils. There are 2 things that lead to the rating given. First one is that the blender immediately snapped in two when I was sharping it. The other reason is that the price is too high. They are great pencils, yes, but the price isn’t justices for them. Polychromos are expensive but you truly get your moneys worth as you get a larger variety of colors and pencils for the same price. Overall, amazing pencils but the price is not justified.

11-06-2025I don’t really know if it’s normal but a lot of these pencils are different sizes. Some will fit in my sharpener and others won’t. This is my first time purchasing this brand do I don’t know if it’s normal.

> 3 dayAbsolutely love these pencils! I use them in my Zentangle art and pet portraits. I love the way I can blend the colors to give depth and eye popping colors. Would definitely recommend these pencils

> 3 dayThe absolute best professional colored pencil on the market. Worth every single penny!!! Last so much longer than Prismacolor its not hardly comparable... these draw like a dream... they can be a touch soft tipped so I find I use my Faber Castell Poloychromos still for fine point work. They work wonderfully together even tough one is wax based and one oil based... just delightful pencils in every way... even the tin they come in is sturdy and comfortable to work with compared to Prismacolors flimsy pencil trays.

> 3 dayFirst of all, every thing is perfect about these. The packaging is excellent, the trays the pencils sit in is well done. These have extremely strong wood so absolutely no breakage, they can take and hold a point for quite a long time, the pigments are phenomenal , outstanding, they have the best if not one of the best skin tone pencils around for all sorts of art, the pencils are highly saturated, the colour just oozes out like butter and glides on surfaces, they can layer and blend EXTREMELY well, also pairing this with Faber Castell Polychromos or some other oil based pencil works amazing with each other. These pencils can achieve end results with more saturation and depth and vibrancy than markers and even paints; these pack a punch and they dont run out quickly

09-06-2025Too pricey for beginners, coloring book fans, or casual users. These are professional-grade pencils. Buttery smooth, vibrant colors are amazing. Highly recommend to the serious artist.

Greater than one weekFor the price I was a bit hesitant to purchase these pencils but I had heard a lot of good things and read reviews stating how excellent they were that I finally decided to go for it. Presentation wise the packaging is a bit lacking being that its cardboard but they are well protected by a foamy padded material (it would have also been nice if you could slide the trays out somehow instead of lifting each layer out). The pencils themselves are gorgeous and you can really see the craftsmanship put into each of them. Performance is where these really shine however, they have almost a smooth pastel like feel that allows them to blend and layer like a dream. I read that these are wax based pencils so there is a tiny bit of bloom when layering but it’s not really noticeable. I was also able to sharpen each pencil to a fine point point without any breakage which really surprised me. The price is a bit steep but these pencils are as good as advertised, I’d recommend buying a few of these as they’re sold open stock and try them out if you’re on the fence.
