Does the job. I couldnt tell what to expect from the picture. I originally thought Id have to give it 3 stars, as it seems like it could be ripped off pretty easily. But one try and our 2 year old quit. Weve had it on for 6 months now without an issue. And believe me, that kid LOVES light switches! So this is saying something. We knocked it off a couple times carrying large items down the stairs, but it didnt break (amazingly) and is still going strong.

I live in an apartment building and the only outlet that was available in my room is connected to light switch, which is where I plugged my computer. You can imagine how bad it is when I forget this and flip the switch without thinking. So this has been the perfect deterrent. Especially in the mornings when my brain is still fuzzy and I just want to switch on or off the same light that is plugged in to the outlet. Its saved my computer from more sudden shut downs. Ill admit, I have no children so I dont know how effective it is for that, but its perfect for me. And installation was a snap, almost literally. It took like ten seconds tops. : )

This works perfectly well in preventing my child from touching the switch initially. However, It tends to break anytime soon as the plastic has cracked from installation. Also the price is way too high at $12..., it’s just two piece of plastic, but it’s only the choice I could found.

We were having problems with our toddler getting up after we put him in bed with turning the lights back on (his way of getting us back into the room). I found this item and figured I would give it a try. I installed it when he wasnt looking and the next time he went for the light switch he told me thats not very nice Mommy. It helped for awhile until he figured out how to use different things from his room to push up inside to turn it on. I will say it was kind of a pain when I was going into his room to change his diaper or to put things away and I had to reach my finger inside to flip the switch on or off.

I researched a lot of switch covers for our toddlers room and finally chose this one based on how solid and sturdy it seemed. Its been installed for a week and so far so good! It was easy to put on and my toddler cant reach his little fingers up there yet. No more playing with his toys in the middle of the night! ;) Great product!

its really good , it makes our life easier from constantly running around a toddler qhile.he likes to.turn on the lights that he is able to reach. The only thing is so expensive for just one.

These are easily one of my favorite amazon purchases. My toddler used to always mess with the light switches and now he doesn’t even go near them! He tried to turn my switches on and off and after he realized he can no longer do that he stopped playing with them.

These were so easy to install. I was going to use the original screws that were already on the switch plate, but the set that came in the package work better since they’re shaped perfect for the attachment that goes on the wall plate. Took me less than five minutes to install each one. I bought three of these. Easy to remove the outer covering when my little “guest” is not visiting and us grown ups can turn the lights on and off real easy,

We purchased two of these guards after our cats, who apparently spent their idle time while home alone thinking up new tricks, figured out how to turn on the hall lights, and wed frequently arrive home to find the lights had been switched on, burning for who knows how long. The grownup humans in our home are all shorter than 53 and are fairly short-fingered, and we do find the length of the covers pose a slight challenge for us to reach up/down into. Weve found the best way to reach the switch is a good ol middle finger salute. While we have no children in the home, we can imagine from our own experiences that kids are very, very unlikely to be able to get at any light switches covered with these guards. These switch guards have been effective, worked like a charm, fully meet our needs. The cats have since moved along to learning to open closet doors instead.

My 3 year old twins would not stop turning their light on and it became a bedtime game. (Not a very fun one for mom and dad) Their little fingers cannot flip the switch now! Lifesaver
