Child Proof Light Switch Guard - for Standard (Toggle) Style Switches

Twin toddlers new bedroom has really tall slanted ceilings, like 15. In our old house I just slightly unscrewed the light bulbs so they didnt flip on the lights in the middle of the night, but I cant do that here. This was really helpful and exactly what I needed.

These were so easy to install. I was going to use the original screws that were already on the switch plate, but the set that came in the package work better since they’re shaped perfect for the attachment that goes on the wall plate. Took me less than five minutes to install each one. I bought three of these. Easy to remove the outer covering when my little “guest” is not visiting and us grown ups can turn the lights on and off real easy,

I love this thing! I bought it because one of my parrots discovered what the light switch does. For months, Ive been enduring the lights being turned on in the middle of the night when my parrot decided it would rather play than sleep. The cover is super easy to install. It took me like two minutes. Just unscrew the screws for the switch cover, place the clear back plate over the switch, then put the screws back in. The clear tube then snaps right on to the back plate. I dont have long fingers, but I can easily flip the switch. However, fat bird beaks wont fit! No more late night play sessions for the parrot! Shell have to wait until morning.

If you need a cover for a light switch in a childs room, this is the one to get. We were having trouble with my son getting up and turning the lights on when he was supposed to be sleeping. This is great because adults can turn the light on and off but his little fingers cant reach it. So now he knows he cant and it isnt even a fight anymore. We are so glad we got this light switch cover. Would definitely recommend it.

This was a life saver for us! Our 1 year olds crib is next to the light switch (theres no room to move it). She figured out after one of her naps that she not only could reach the switch, but could also turn it on. I was nervous that shed do the same during the middle of the night, so I put tape over the switch. But, it is the only switch for her rooms light, so I had to keep taking on/off the tape to turn the switch on/off. This switch cover not only solved our problem, but was super easy and quick to install, while not taking away from the aesthetic of the nursery. I would definitely recommend this!

This does exactly what it supposed to do, and I installed it in about two minutes. My son was baffled for about 30 seconds and now completely ignores that light switch. It was a problem before, now it’s not, very pleased

Purchased this in hopes it would help curb the nighttime monkey business going on in my 2 1/2 year-old twins bedroom at bedtime. It worked just as I had hoped! No more shenanigans! Not much they can do in a dark room besides go to sleep. Yay! Easy to install and easy for adults to use. Not so much for tiny little fingers.

This definitely does the job. We had a problem with our daughter switching the light on the second we left the room at night at bedtime. She was staying up late and passing out with the light on! This light switch guard eliminated the problem. Its easy for parents to use (you just reach up over or under the tube to turn the light on/off) but little fingers cannot reach. Installation was a breeze and it will be easy to remove when she gets a little older. Id recommend it to anyone having issues keeping their littles in bed.
