Child Proof Light Switch Guard - for Standard (Toggle) Style Switches

When our son turned 3 years old, he went through a REALLY horrible phase where hed fight bed time and wake up all during the night and refuse to stay in his room. A part of that was turning his bedroom light on and off during the night. In addition to supplying him with night lights, this light switch guard was the PERFECT SOLUTION! An adult finger can slip through the top to turn the light off or the bottom to turn it on; little fingers cannot. Not quite a year later we took it off and he leaves his light alone. He must have matured. ;) TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

We had a really big problem with our toddler reaching up and turning on the switch for the fireplace. Not only was this dangerous, but a waste of money in gas. Enter this piece of plastic. Thats really all it is, but it is just long enough that a toddler index finger cant hit the switch, but an adult finger can. We havent had a single mishap since installing it over 3 months ago.

My students were constantly turning the lights off and on. These do not allow their little finger to reach the switches. They can easily be popped off and cleaned. Also important in a classroom

easy for the 7yr old to use but the 3yr old it was bought for works just fine. it was easy to set up and was complete with kn a few minutes

We have lower light switches so I needed something to prevent my 2yo from turning the lights on in his bedroom. I had a different brand childproof one before and he figured it out in one try. This one, you need longer fingers to use it so my kids can’t reach it with their fingers. The only downside, my kids are super smart and my 4yo taught my 2yo to use a dinosaur tail to push the light switch up haha. So now I keep all toys that he could use to turn the light on out of his room. I wish they made something that is truly toddler proof!!

As soon as my son could reach the light switches he would NOT stop flipping them. So when we had to transition him from his crib to a bed I was so worried he would be up all night flipping the switch in his room. Luckily I found this item just before we had to make the change and we did not have to worry about this distracting him from actually sleeping in his bed at night! A friend recommended it to me and I am soooo glad!

I have customers waiting room where one of the switches on the wall is to control fireplace. There has been many times when someone have accidentally flipped fireplace on in July and I wanted to make sure it does not happen again. Ordered this and installed and placed sticker on it saying Employee use only. We have not have any problems with fireplace since. Strong plastic, easy to install and it looks good on the wall. Very good safety cover.

its really good , it makes our life easier from constantly running around a toddler qhile.he likes to.turn on the lights that he is able to reach. The only thing is so expensive for just one.

We had a bottom light switch that my 2 year old was constantly turning off and on, it was for the tv so every time he shut it off , it would take a few mins for the cable to load again. This works exactly like it should! He tried a few times then gave up , now he never touches it. If I had to use the switch then I could still use it without taking it off , it’s the little fingers that can’t reach the switch I like that it’s clear , it’s not an eyesore
