Child Proof Light Switch Guard - for Standard (Toggle) Style Switches

Our special needs child was able to reach and turn on the disposal switch one evening and that was enough for us to look for a safety cover. This does the job, my kids cannot stick their fingers up far enough to reach the switch so we are happy to know they are safe.

Works great on the under 5 crowd. But my 5.5 year old figured it out in no time flat, which is ok at that age. We love it and are actually here to buy more, but holy moly is it over priced.

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter so shed stop turning on her bedroom light when its bedtime. She thought that shed be clever and stack 3 pillows on the floor to TRY and turn it on, but to no avail her little fingers just couldnt reach up far enough to turn it on! Now the light stays off and theres no more late night parties in her room!

I like the concept of this.. But I do think it is over priced. Not only that but mine came with a crack in the base plate part of it.. But I desperately needed it to keep my 3 year old from turning his light on at bedtime so I installed it anyways. I just hope it holds together and does not break more.

The only thing that saved me from my two year old turning the light on after shutting his door for bed time. He and his younger brother sleep much better now and I dont have to worry about late night play!

This was a lifesaver! My 2 and 4 year olds share a room, and the 2 year old was constantly turning on the light while her sister was sleeping, so nobody could sleep. Problem solved!

The switch for our garbage disposal is on our island and low enough for our toddlers to flip. I got this as a safety measure and it’s done a great job. No way for little fingers to get in there and super easy to install.

I love this thing! I bought it because one of my parrots discovered what the light switch does. For months, Ive been enduring the lights being turned on in the middle of the night when my parrot decided it would rather play than sleep. The cover is super easy to install. It took me like two minutes. Just unscrew the screws for the switch cover, place the clear back plate over the switch, then put the screws back in. The clear tube then snaps right on to the back plate. I dont have long fingers, but I can easily flip the switch. However, fat bird beaks wont fit! No more late night play sessions for the parrot! Shell have to wait until morning.

It is easy for me to turn the light on and off, but my childs fingers are too short to reach. It really is a smart design and makes it very easy to use.
