Greater than one weekBought to run non amplified loads, works fantastic for HF/VHF. Given the cost of good connectors is about $20 for a pair, and some cable to put between them and a nice chassis for each end, its not hard to price out and justify the overall price. Pros: Easy to install Little modification to pre-existing structures, maybe some screw holes or use double sided tape for mounting. Pretty good construction Works great for window use, my installation closes nice and easy, still seals well with it installed. (modern double pane vinyl) Cons: Not super heavy duty, not designed for high watt/amp use. Other thoughts: Not going to work with storm windows that you want to close. They are a good stop gap to get you on the air until you get a amp and run actual feed lines from your ham shack.
