This product solves the problem of getting a coax feed line into the house without drilling through the wall.I use it with my Icom receiver with a outside antenna. This has coax connectors on both ends and is thin enough to close the window no problem, it can also go under a door if you need too do that. I am just a DXer but hams can transmit with up to 100 watts with this thing. Very good solution to an old problem, for me a must have.

Works great. Better than drilling a hole through the wall. Ive had it about a year and it has been a very good product.

At best, this is a stop-gap device. Though I have a good experience with it across the VHF amateur band (1.2:1 SWR) I have issues with it on 70cm. The SWR at the low end of this band is ok but it rises sharply towards the top end to over 1.7:1. The stated insertion loss seems pretty accurate and it too rises shaarply on 70cm. My suspicion is that it was designed for primary use in Hf up through VHF but the manufacturer pushed its use on UHF to maximize sales. Unfortunately there arent many alternatives around (MFJ if your window has an opening up to 48). Otherwise the tape is quite flimsy and will, no doubt, turn brittle in UV light. At best, for my use, I can only rate it 3 stars...and thats pushing it.

Works great! Using it for a scanner antenna and getting that antenna outside made a world of difference, I don’t see any notice loss with this product.

To avoid drilling the new double-glazed windows or the 60 cm wall (the house is over 100 years old) to pass the antenna cable, I tried this product. The flexible part adapted very well to the path between the two parts of the window, bending in places. The window opens as usual, you do not notice the presence of the passer-by. The antenna receives as usual, I have not noticed any degradation in performance, not even at the signal strength measuring unit. For now I dont comment on the durability because I bought it recently, but it looks sturdy. Its not cheap, but its well done.

This is a good solution for running a coax cable into the house with out making holes. I is a bit pricey for what it is.

I got my ham license (WB8ERT) on April 30, 2021 and as a renter (apartment) contacted the landlord about putting up an antenna. I promised to restore any and all modification, but the answer was no. This connector allows me to keep outdoors (on my air conditioner) my antenna (Nagoya UT-72 Super Loading Coil 19-Inch Magnetic Mount (Heavy Duty) VHF/UHF (144/430Mhz) Antenna PL-259), which I also purchased here on Amazon.com. Please note I rated this antenna a 5 star in my Amazon.com review. My radio is an handheld unit (AnyTone AT-D878UVII Plus). The connection from the radio uses all Amazon.com purchased wiring. Radio -> Superbat RF Coax SMA Male to UHF Female SO-239 Cable + 2pcs SMA Adapter SMA UHF Female SO239 Adapter -> RG58 Coaxial Cable 49.2ft,UHF PL259 Male to Male Cable 50 Ohm Low Loss -> To this unit -TC-50M CTC50M CTC 50M CTC/50M Original Comet Window Feed-Thru Jumper -> Finally to the antenna (see above). Thus far for UHF, VHF, and DMR Ive not had any problems with any purchases from Amazon.com ham gear. I can highly recommend this connector to those whose landlords dont want any modification even with a promise to restore to original condition.

When drilling through the wall is forbidden, or if there is no way to make a sufficient hole for your coaxial cable, then a Comet Window Feed-Thru Jumper may be the problem solver that you need! Comet Window Feed-Thru Jumpers are flexible, 50 ohm, flat feedline assemblies with SO-239 UHF female connectors at each end. They are used for routing RF through a window frame without drilling holes in the wall or leaving a window/door open for the coax cable or connectors. These window-gap jumpers are almost 16 in. long and are made from copper-clad steel and PET plastic to allow for a low power transfer of RF with a nominal loss of only 0.5 dB up to 500 MHz, and they are useable up to 1300 MHz! Whether you route it through a sliding door or window, you can close the door or window securely without damaging the coax!
