> 24 hourMy cat decided to start jumping from the top of the fridge to the floor. On the way down, she would somehow knock the freezer open. So this was suggested to me. No more freezer door standing wide open. That is what I wanted and it works great.

> 24 hourDoes it’s job! Just make sure u read directions and follow! I placed my unit a little off and my refrigerator door opens a little and can be left open about a inch. If u read and install properly it will keep the door completely closed. But I do recommend item for a refrigerator or any unit u don’t want someone u live or work with in.

> 24 hourIt seems to be built well but the adhesive didn’t stick like I had hoped. I used this on a shelving unit to keep the door closed. I’m planning on adding a stronger glue or something.

> 24 hourAt first I did not see the lock because it was so tiny. Then I found it. Very easy to install. I have a deep freezer outside that I store rainwater in. My insurance company told me that I had to take the top off. That was not an option. Health hazard, mosquitoes. So I bought and installed this lock. It was acceptable for them. I tried to pull it off because I thought I had installed it wrong. It would not budge whatsoever. Come to find out it was installed properly. I was locking it wrong....lol. Great price too!

> 24 hourI’m actually using these as a way to keep my small DIY enclosed trailer door closed. I’ve had things slide and put some weight on them and not had any issue. My only worry is if the adhesive is really good enough for lasting through the AZ heat of summer. Just to be safe I drilled two holes in each and secured by screw. Can’t say how much weight or pressure they hold but it’s pretty good. While not the intended use I think it shows that they wouild be totally solid used as intended. The weakest link is likely the locks themselves but if used on a fridge are more than sufficient.

> 24 hourThis seems to be a good solution to hindering anybody getting into the mini fridge. It attaches securely with the 3M backing. Really need to be accurate with the location of the 2 tape ends otherwise the locking bars wont line up. I dont think the material holding the locking bars in place is tough enough to keep anybody from using a hack saw to cut through it, but it will slow them down.

> 24 hourAs another customer mentions I too have an autistic son. Hes picky about food and drink but anything we have that he does like he binges and has no full limit. He will continue eating and drinking until its gone. (Not to mention no one in the house gets anything including his brother) Ive always compared it to having bulimia with out vomitting. Thats seriously what its like. All these years Ive been told to get one; originally I had the child proof locks but my son is presently 12. I was always more concerned about the fact we live in a rental but now he eats and drinks more and follows directions less. We keep everything from snacks to milk locked outside of house. He also likes to get up, go in the kitchen and open and close the fridge in the middle of the night as entertainment and form of stimulation to stay up (light inside of fridge). I finally decided to buy one because I am convinced the fridge will have to be replaced before we move out anyways. That lock isnt going anywhere...keep hearing kids yanking and pulling at it in hopes maybe THIS time it will open and then giving up. In turn our autistic son is giving up trying to use as entertainment and going to sleep because I have taken the fun out of it. UPDATE: After being fed up for a month by not getting his way our son decided to grab a steak knife and popped it off with ease. Enjoying the fact we were actually able to put food in the refrigerator we urgently wanted to fix the problem. We bought another one from a different seller/brand. After installing 2nd I heard him in the kitchen and chased him away. A knife was wedged behind it, I caught him in the act. I decided the fridge is onle $300 and dumped a gallon of super glue in crevices and around edges. Its 1 am and he went back to try again. Because he couldnt he popped the other side off. I just super glued it too to fridge and am sitting here guarding it as it dries. Hopefully at least make it through the night and will generously add more. It would work great if person/people see it and respect it or only tugs a few times. Someone whos disrespectful and doesnt care will still get in if they really want to.

> 24 hourWe purchased to lock a freezer. Worked perfectly. We already had a lock so we did not purchase with lock. Adhesive sticks, I mean, you better be sure you place it where you want it, once it cures (24 hrs) there is no relocating it. I have purchased this several times for different fridges and freezers. Definitely recommend.
