We purchased to lock a freezer. Worked perfectly. We already had a lock so we did not purchase with lock. Adhesive sticks, I mean, you better be sure you place it where you want it, once it cures (24 hrs) there is no relocating it. I have purchased this several times for different fridges and freezers. Definitely recommend.

I bought a mini fridge because nefarious individuals kept invading my stash of ale when I wasnt around. It didnt help so I bought one of these fridge locks. Before it arrived, I broke a bunch of bones in my hand, so when I got it and read the instructions I was concerned. The adhesive isnt stronger the longer you hold it on surface when installing, but is stronger the more pressure you exert. My brother in law helped me install it but I wasnt able to push very hard. It was slightly crooked so he said to pull it off and reposition it. Not happening. Now you might be able to grab some bolt cutters and cut the lock off, but a linebacker with a blow torch and a crowd bar couldnt get this thing off. Several very very large friends tried. Make sure you want this on permanently. My beer is safe.

this door lock is very strong and secure, if you follow the included instructions and apply it properly, it definitely is not coming off. That said I recommend purchasing a better quality lock, as the lock it comes with feels kinda cheap and not very durable

This seems to be a good solution to hindering anybody getting into the mini fridge. It attaches securely with the 3M backing. Really need to be accurate with the location of the 2 tape ends otherwise the locking bars wont line up. I dont think the material holding the locking bars in place is tough enough to keep anybody from using a hack saw to cut through it, but it will slow them down.

So far so good. Followed install instructions and they are holding strong. Like that it came in white to match my fridge and the locks were included.

I remember reading the reviews for this lock because I was skeptical about its strength and durability. Like myself most who purchased it had a child with special needs and I could totally relate to their issues. That gave me enough comfort to buy it snd I was not disappointed. I ended up buying another one for the deep freezer later. I had mine for over 2 years and never had a problem with it. In fact, when I moved I could not get the thing off my landlords fridge lol. It bonds very well. You would think it was bolted on the fridge. I highly recommend this refrigerator lock.

10* star product ! I got this for a workplace fridge. Trust issues influenced the decision to lock the fridge. This product is high quality and worked exactly promised. The adhesive is super strong and after waiting the 24 hour drying time it’s not easily coming off. The instructions were super easy to understand and application was dead easy! Comes with a high quality lock with multiple extra keys. You can also use your own lock if desired a d if it fits through the mounts.

We just bought a freezer and we must keep it in a carport. We live in Washington state. It is cold. Temperatures today will be in the 50s for the high. The directions for installing say the ideal temperatures are between 70 to 100 degrees and ...the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily if you try it at lower temperatures. I am reluctant to try a hair dryer technique. It looks like a good lock, but not for us for a while. The temperature requirements should be in the prodect description.

I’m actually using these as a way to keep my small DIY enclosed trailer door closed. I’ve had things slide and put some weight on them and not had any issue. My only worry is if the adhesive is really good enough for lasting through the AZ heat of summer. Just to be safe I drilled two holes in each and secured by screw. Can’t say how much weight or pressure they hold but it’s pretty good. While not the intended use I think it shows that they wouild be totally solid used as intended. The weakest link is likely the locks themselves but if used on a fridge are more than sufficient.
