09-06-2025Holds firmly, with palm-strength pressure, the pads applied solidly, and instantly, with no shifting around as I continued to apply pressure. Got mine to line up perfectly, to do this, I lined up both, removed one, and tracked the location, then I held up both, removed the other, and traced the second location, then applied each. The lock is solid, and without bolt cutters, you arent getting in. The keys are durable, and will last you a long time. The instructions are edifying, and perfectly instructive, to receive a clean installation, easy as pie. (Pie is more difficult to do right) The plastic is strong, solid, and matte. The threads, or metal arms, are powerful, slightly flexible metal. This is an excellent deterrent to invasive roommates, if your have another house you would like to lock the fridge of, or if your leaving on vacation and you have beer in the fridge and teens in the house. The only way to get through this security is have applied it wrong, using a flat knife to slowly ease the pad away from the door, or using a bolt cutter on the lock. So for just about everybody, this lock will suffice.

Greater than one weekHad my camera on my frig and saw a ungrateful teen leaving my fridge open and walking away leaving it open. This solved that situation. I would give it 10 stars.

> 3 dayIf youre looking to padlock a fridge, look no further. This was an easy way to lose a little weight by locking up my snacks and putting the key in a block of ice in the freezer. If I wanted to have a snack, I had to REALLY want it, waiting to defrost the key and all that jazz. I think the adhesive will last a long time on this, as it doesnt feel too loose, not feel like the adhesive is very stiff and brittle.

Greater than one weekWorks well, is basically a coated cable which slides into a stopper slot on the attachment pads. Deters very well. If someone truly wants to get past the lock, the could probably just use a putty knife to pry it, but it would probably be obvious it was tampered with. Note: It may be material to some to know that if the curve of the fridge door edge is wide enough, the flatness and rigidity of the plastic base my not allow it to adhere completely and/or that may in turn lead the lock loops not reaching far enough to line up ideally. Key: dry fit before removing the adhesive protectors. The arms Do bend enough for me and they are easily removed from the bases if you decide that you dont want to us le the lock for a while. Would recommend for sure. Kids cant sneak in to boost the summer ice cream like they have been, which is why I bought it.

> 3 dayThe lock broke in the first week but the arms on the fridge seem to be sturdy so we will need to buy a new lock to replace the broken one. I haven’t tried to remove it from the fridge yet

> 3 dayWe just bought a freezer and we must keep it in a carport. We live in Washington state. It is cold. Temperatures today will be in the 50s for the high. The directions for installing say the ideal temperatures are between 70 to 100 degrees and ...the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily if you try it at lower temperatures. I am reluctant to try a hair dryer technique. It looks like a good lock, but not for us for a while. The temperature requirements should be in the prodect description.
