Coolibar UPF 50+ 42 Inch Sodalis Travel Umbrella - Sun Protective

Greater than one weekPurchased two for a hiking trip. Sun protection is good, definitely cooler under the umbrella as well. However, of the ribs broke immediately and they turned inside out in the slightest breeze Plus the umbrella is bulky compared to the other auto open/close UV umbrellas that I got from Korea and were half the price. Dissappointing quality for the price.

> 3 dayI have an autoimmune condition that means I need to be very serious about sun protection, and I got this umbrella for days when I dont want to wear a hat. Its great! Its easy to use, sturdy, and copes well with wind. Its also compact enough to carry around easily and to not take up too much room when Im walking down the sidewalk. It also works well for rain, making it a versatile addition to the stuff I carry with me daily. Coolibar products do tend to be a bit more expensive, but the extra money is worth it for the quality you get and the sun protection the products offer.

> 3 dayFor the price I expected something more sturdy. Kinda awkward length would have been better if it was a bit longer but I needed it to travel. Im going to look into the next size up thats longer and has a handle

> 3 dayIt really is SIGNIFICANTLY cooler under one of these! Great product. If it wasnt so bulky id still be using it. I switched to the EuroSchirm Lite Trek umbrella instead. But my husband absolutely loves his Coolibar.

Greater than one weekOnly heard good things about Coolibar umbrellas. Given I would be working with youth in the desert figured I’d make the purchase. Pro’s: it does shade really well Con’s: slightest wind and it blows up, the handle is rather short so holding its chest level it will sit on your head, the shaft of the umbrella wiggles Over all the sun shade part is great, the rest of the umbrella is poor quality

> 3 dayI love the lightweight material the fabric is made of. I havent used it yet but i think Ill use it lots with my dogs (not walking them on the hot concrete of course). Ill update in a couple of months to see how it does during the sun blazing days.

> 3 dayThis was bought for the sunny California beaches, but the wind prevents the umbrella to function properly. Great for a non windy , no beach kind of day . Perfect just for rain umbrella.

> 3 dayThe fabric used in the umbrella is perfect, however, the ventilation of the umbrella is practically nonexistent. This umbrella cannot be used in the wind. It turns inside out very easily and is a hassle to use. It’s really only useful on a virtually windless day. You couldn’t use this at the beach at all. I used it on a walk in my hometown (not near the coast) on a spring day with mild winds and it turned inside out several times. I haven’t used it since, so it was a waste of money.
