> 3 dayHave had this umbrella for at least five years. It didnt feel sturdy, but it has lasted and is in good shape. I can tell the that it has better sun coverage when I have to use another type of umbrella. Its kind of heavy but folds small. Its such a good umbrella that I thought its only fair that I update my review.

> 3 dayPurchased two for a hiking trip. Sun protection is good, definitely cooler under the umbrella as well. However, of the ribs broke immediately and they turned inside out in the slightest breeze Plus the umbrella is bulky compared to the other auto open/close UV umbrellas that I got from Korea and were half the price. Dissappointing quality for the price.

> 3 dayExcellent! Like being under a big shady tree. You absolutely are protected from the sun. My mom takes meds and cant have direct sunlight. .this umbrella is perfect. Auto open & close... UPDATE: 3years later my umbrella still is amazing. Holds up to regular use and is still in excellent condition! Well made excellent product!!!

> 3 dayThe handle was a little wobbly from the day 1, but I figured it should be OK, and it was; it blocked the suns rays nicely. That is, until late summer this year. It literally collapsed one day while in use, with a big BANG! Now it wont open. Automatic umbrellas mechanism tend to go before the rest of the umbrella, but really, you would think it should last a little longer at this price. Ive had a rain umbrella (with automatic mechanism) given to me as a free-bee live much longer than this. I think this one is overpriced for the quality. UPDATE: I contacted Coolibar; it turns out the umbrella is guaranteed for life. They replaced it for free. I have my finger crossed that this one wont collapse like the last one. (It was difficult not to have my best sun protection for a while.)

Greater than one weekI live in Texas and use this umbrella every single day. It really keeps the sun off and provides shade while talking my daily walk. I walk about two miles every day and just had too much sun on my head and face. This is instant shade. I love it.

> 3 dayOnly heard good things about Coolibar umbrellas. Given I would be working with youth in the desert figured I’d make the purchase. Pro’s: it does shade really well Con’s: slightest wind and it blows up, the handle is rather short so holding its chest level it will sit on your head, the shaft of the umbrella wiggles Over all the sun shade part is great, the rest of the umbrella is poor quality

> 3 dayFor the price I expected something more sturdy. Kinda awkward length would have been better if it was a bit longer but I needed it to travel. Im going to look into the next size up thats longer and has a handle

> 3 dayI really liked this umbrella, it is well made and lasted for a long time. Its foldable, so I would carry it on the side of my backpack. I used it a lot while walking between classes on campus.

Greater than one weekThe fabric used in the umbrella is perfect, however, the ventilation of the umbrella is practically nonexistent. This umbrella cannot be used in the wind. It turns inside out very easily and is a hassle to use. It’s really only useful on a virtually windless day. You couldn’t use this at the beach at all. I used it on a walk in my hometown (not near the coast) on a spring day with mild winds and it turned inside out several times. I haven’t used it since, so it was a waste of money.
