Every time Ive tested this drive with Crystal Disk Mark, its pegged the write speeds at 510MB/sec., which is perfect for ym use case, as I use this SSD to store older games that I have on my system. 1TB of storage for $50 is a steal, especially when I have no need for 7GBs/sec. read speeds.

I am please at how fast it works. It is almost instant.

Having the Acronis app makes upgrading to an SSD simple. Ive installed 6 Crucial SSDs over the years and they are all working perfectly.

When I was comparing SSDs, I was looking for speed, storage capacity, dependability and price. The speed isnt any faster than my former HDD. The storage capacity is the same as my HDD. The price is a lot higher than an HDD, with the same capacity. So, why am I giving this such a high rating, with such bad things. Well, it runs a lot quieter than the HDDs. Its a lot smaller in size and weight than the HDDs. And, SSDs are known to last a lot longer than HDDs, due to having no spinning parts. I also chose this particular one due to the brand, who is known for making dependable products. In essence, even though it may really hurt the wallet, sometimes you have to spend extra to get a quality product

I have an older Lenovo with software whose manufacturer doesn’t make anymore. When the HDD started to go I bought a new Lenovo, but as I suspected, the license wouldn’t transfer. I thought, what the hey, try to clone it. With the original drive on its last leg, it took about 719 tries, but I finally got it to clone. Almost all the drivers needed to be reinstalled because of the corruption, but it worked and it’s like a brand new laptop!

Replace a HD that was failing in a DVR. Works great

This is my second SSD drive I have purchased from Crucial to replace an older HDD. The procedure is easy to follow and the SSD drive is fast and dependable.

I bought this product when my old hard drive was damaged by someone I shall not name and I am impressed by its how easy it was to install and also its performance. The read amd write speed are excellent. I did a clean install of windows and nowy computer boots extremely fast unlike in the past. Im the process of buying a few more drives for 2 other laptops for my family members
