It is nothing to flashy or over the top. Speeds are pretty good for the price. I used Crucials website to see what they recommended as a replacement for my 1TB 1600 RPM HDD and this is what I was given. Feels like a good buy for the price.

All of our old Dell systems in the office had slow HDDs and were causing very slow operation for day to day tasks. I migrated the OS/data from each HDD to the new SSDs and the systems are flying. Everyone in the office is very happy with the swap. I put a few WD Blue drives in some of the systems and the performance difference is not noticeable but the crucial drives look better and more sturdy based on the materials used.

First time installing a hard drive with a SSD type. I must say that it is the best upgrade Ive done where I see big result. It serves its purpose why I installed SSD, to make my PC faster. I have a 12 year old HP laptop and the memory is maxed out. The only thing I can do is the hard drive in which I am glad I did. Now it boot up and shutdown faster than ever before. Cloning with no glitch whatsoever. Btw, I bought 2 of these and all working fine. I highly recommend doing this compare to buying a new PC.

Bought to use as a gaming drive and storage, speed is as promised but sometime drops a bit. Value for money if bought with discount

I had a one TB drive that was getting full so I purchased this one to give myself more room. If you havent already replaced your standard issue Hard Drive with SSD in your Mid 2012 Non Retina MacBook Pro you have no idea what youre missing. Obviously new MacBooks are faster and improved but upgrading to an SSD and increasing Memory to its capacity of 16 GB will give you a computer that comes close in performance considering its age.

This is a great product. Prefer it over the 850PRO Samsung for reliability over time

Anything that is mechanical in nature has a really good chance of failing over time. Fans, hard drives and DVDs. SSD is the only way to go and the system boots faster also.
