This hard drive and a RAM upgrade made my older laptop run like a new one.

First time taking the back off a laptop and installing memory or hardware of anysort. Easy-peasy. Fired up immediatley and was instantly faster and more responsive. Great value.

Way too long for this upgrade, computer went from 76 seconds startup an 30 seconds turn off to 30 seconds start up and 6 second turn off.

I replaced my old Laptop HD with this SSD and my computer works 10 times faster.

The price is good and the product is great. There was much speculation that I might receive a fake, as there are many suppliers on Amazon selling fake products. I ordered one for my wifes MacBook from Staples and one from Amazon and they were identical from packaging to labels. That being said, the install took about 5 minutes after cloning the drive. Both drive boot fast and and both boosted the performance on each MacBook. I cant seem to notice a difference between the 2 drives so Im betting that these are the real deal. Im a big fan of Crucial!!

My husband purchased the 1TB hard drive for me in November 2018 based on its good reviews, and we installed it in my Thinkpad. It failed within 11 months of installation and so far the data has been unrecoverable.
