Free cloning software made the whole procedure a breeze, and my HP Probook now boots up and shuts down in seconds rather than minutes. Folders and software open a lot faster now as well. Great SSD from Crucial and would highly recommend.

Installed in my Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Series Laptop. Install was very easy as well as transfer all of the data from the disk drive. The only issue I have is occasionally it may just reboot and then the hard drive is not recognized. Usually just powering off and back on resolves this. Overall the speed increase was great.

Instalado sin problema en un Dell Inspiron 1564. En mi caso no hice clonado de disco duro antiguo, instalación de Windows 10 desde cero via unidad externa y nueva instalación de programas que necesito. El rendimiento de portátil ha cambiado de la noche al día. Donde antes tardaba mas de 3 o 4 minutos en arrancar con el viejo HDD, ahora lo hace en 20 segundos cronometrados. Ésta mejora, mas la instalación de unas RAM de mayor capacidad ha hecho rejuvenecer el pc para el uso que le destino, navegación web, ofimática y poco más. Recomendable!

I purchased 4 of these to be used with a MegaRAID controller. Every time the server did a warm reboot the RAID set would be in a failed state. After talking with Crucial tech support a length I finally got them to admit a problem with the firmware. I tried to return these and after they were received by whomever the seller is for Amazon denied the return saying I return a different product than I purchased. I returned these in the original box with original documentation and I have been in a dispute for several months trying to get my $1K back.

Great ssd at a good price. It offers great performance for gaming. It stays cool and never encountered issues so far.

I like the product alot because it is surprisingly speedy ssd for the price for the money it wont steer you wrong the only thing I did not like was you cant use all 500 gb its like 480 gb other than that this is a great product

This hard drive was installed professionally and functions perfectly. There may be other solid-state drives that are faster, but this one was a great value for the price. So far, this is the third one that I purchased and they have all been functioning magnificently for at least a year.
