Great value, I still have an MX300 that still performs pretty well, even though it has 25GB more, depending on the workload it can be significantly slower than the MX500, due to lower random write/read speeds (as sequential speeds are largely irrelevant for an SSD drive). I hope the next stage in NAND flash will bring more improvements to the next iteration.

My computer is so fast now. Im not good at keeping up with new technology, but I was definitely missing out in holding out on getting one for so long. Absolutely essential for modern gaming.

It was easy to transfer the files from my existing drive and the boot up time is great but not hearing the drive churn sometimes makes me wonder if it is running until the screen comes up. Now we will have to see how long it lasts.

I have over 20 of these installed that work perfectly. Other than Samsung drives, these are the only brand of SSDs I trust. The preinstalled SSD drives in most HP laptops/desktops do not compare, and they are the only drives that have failed within a years time. The Crucials have been going strong for 1, 2 and 3 years now. Also, if you dont want to clone with the Acronis software, Macrium Reflect has a free edition that will do the job and now can be registered for corporate use in addition to home use. After years of using Acronis, I have switched over to Macrium Reflect at the office.
