Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT500MX500SSD1(Z)

Used this to replace the original 320GB mechanical drive in an Asus EB1036. I used Easeus Partition Manager to clone the disk to the SSD using a USB docking station, then swapped the drives. Windows 10 boots up in about 40 seconds now rather than 3-4 minutes. Im happy. I didnt bother with running speed tests, the EB1036 has a rather slow J1900 CPU so its never going to be a fast PC but the SSD is a dramatic improvement.

I purchased 3 of these mx500, One died but after jumping through some hoops got it replaced by Amazon. As far as performance is concerned, the bang for the buck is hard to deny/beat. I might have gotten a bad unit but the other 2 have been performing like champs. The replacement is still on the way, will update once it gets here / after more usage.

This is the first SSD I have owned and it has not let me down. I have windows 10 on it and the boot-up times are incredible.

Dovevo fare un upgrade del mio PC mandando in pensione il vecchio HDD rotativo che mi faceva da mostruoso collo di bottiglia sia durante lavvio che nelle normali operazioni.

This little SSD breathed new life into my very ancient iMac. The mac worked just fine, but was slow. Replacing the old traditional HDD with this SSD made the Mac boot up very quickly and much more responsive. We should now be able to get at least another few years of life out of the iMac. The one caution I would give to anyone buying this for an iMac is to make sure you get the correct bracket for your machine. The old HDD had coarse thread screws with feet that screwed directly into the HDD to mount into the machine. At least two of the brackets I tried had fine threaded screws which were incompatible and the cable positions in the Mac rely on the cable attachment points of the HDD being down near the bottom of the space when installed. Any other position and the cables just dont reach.

Che dire di questo prodotto ? Sicuramente fa il suo lavoro ed in maniera più che buona . In allegato ho inserito una foto che mostra i dati a confronto tra un ssd M2 , un HD meccanico e il suddetto prodotto . Come si può notare ovviamente rispetto ad un meccanico non cè storia , i valori sono superiori di circa 3.5 volte in lettura e scrittura e devo dire che mi ritrovo quasi perfettamente con i valori dichiarati dalla casa produttrice per cui non posso assolutamente lamentarmi , sapevo ciò che stavo acquistando e le promesse sono state pienamente mantenute.

Sur un windows 10 pro un antique PC AMD 6350 avec DDR3 Démarrage et affichage du bureau 7 secondes...
