> 24 hourI took a long time looking around for the right tool carrier for my new wood turning hobby and this electricians tote turned out to be exactly what I needed. Because I started off turning wooden pens and lots of small parts are required, the storage tray tray hidden in the base of the bag comes in very handy for keeping bushings, brass tubes, spare parts, etc. organized and readily available. Plenty of pockets, zippered compartments, nooks and crannies are very satisfying if youre the kind of guy who likes to keep your stuff conveniently located as well as portable. Besides loving this tool carrier, I am writing this review because there is a tip I want to share that has to do with the condition the item arrived in when Amazon shipped it. Youll notice in the pictures of this tool carrier the handle flaps stand straight up and down. They are in fact pretty rigid and designed to stand up out of the way of the storage on either sides of the tote. Unfortunately, when mine arrived it had been packed in a box that required the handle flaps to be pushed down to one side. As a consequence, the flaps would not stand up even when I loaded the bag up and suspended it over night in an effort to get them to straighten out. This may not seem like a big issue but I found with the flaps bent to one side, I was having a hard time getting to items stored on that side of the carrier. After a few weeks of this and nearly on the verge of deciding to return the tote, I came up with a solution. I figured there had to be some kind of a plastic insert inside those flaps keeping them rigid so if I could heat them up a little I might be able to straighten them out. I took a small hair dryer my girlfriend leaves at my house and used this to warm up the flaps while the bag was suspended. I moved the hair dryer around a lot to keep from burning the canvas covering and I worked on both sides of each flap alternating back and forth. After about 5 minutes of this the annoying curvature in the flaps relaxed and my tool carrier now looks like the one in the picture. I left the carrier hanging up overnight and there hasnt been any relapse into the bent position. Go ahead and order this nifty tool carrier if you think it will suit your needs and if you run into the same problem I did just pull out a hair dryer and in 5 minutes or so, it will be like you bought it off the shelf at your local hardware store.

> 24 hourI ordered this for a home tool kit. Its got plenty of storage and I loaded all the tools I use around the house including drills, socket wrenches, hammers, etc. It stores more easily than a standard tool bag and is much easier to find things. Like the organizing side pocket with plastic case. Good value for the purpose.

> 24 hourJust received item today, and the bag is bigger than I thought it was going to be, but overall its perfect. Item feels like it was built well, and there is more than enough room for my tools for work. I like the plastic tray, that will come handy with all the different screws, nuts, bolts, and connectors I carry and should eliminate any back and forth trips to the van looking for particulary small items. I work on lottery equipment, and the bag that was provided for me is just inadequate as there is never a way to keep things organized and neat looking. Im excited to use this, and maybe Ill update after using this for awhile.

> 24 hourI bought this to replace my work craftsman toolbag, I should have done this years ago. Tool bag features plenty of pockets and clips for all the goodies you carry. I really like the carry handle, good padding for a loaded bag, the shoulder strap has a decent pad and comes in handy for long hikes. One welcome item is the plastic parts tray in the bottom, it goes almost unnoticed but is great for all the small parts and hardware that used to tumble to the bottom of my old bag under the tools. Only one issue so far, a support rod worked out of the carry handle, I got it reinserted, too soon to tell if I will have to address further. I would not hesitate to purchase another, price is right and it is made well.

> 24 hourAbout Me: I work on a little bit of everything, home remodeling, electrical, plumbing, appliances, security systems, surveillance systems, so my favorite, gotta have tools run the gamut. My old bag was a smaller AWP of similar style. About this bag... First off, I just got it and loaded it up so my opinion will change as time goes on. What follows are just my initial impressions. Pros: Nice bag. Nice construction. Looks like it will last for years. You can cram a lot of stuff in this bag. The small parts box in the bottom is a nice touch and will come in handy. Looks impressive when fully loaded. Cons: I think they really missed the boat on how they laid out the tool storage. There are no loops for storing screw drivers and nut drivers so you either have to cram them all into one of the large inside pockets or split them up one or two to a pocket in the outside pockets. Some of the outside pockets are so deep, you cant use them for most tools so they are limited to longer tools like channel-locks or linesman pliers. Pockets for regular sized hand tools (pliers, needle-nose etc.) are also in short supply. I dont like putting more than one tool in a pocket. The zippered pocket/mesh pocket on the one end is too small. Should have been more pouch like in order to make it more crammable (is that a word?). Ill keep it, but Im sure Ill have to add a few after-market customizations to make it work for me. I uploaded some pics to give you a better idea. They sure left a little to be desired in that area. All-in-all, would I buy it again? Yes. EDIT: Wow. Cant believe its been 2.5 years since I bought this bag! Still holding up great. I ended out solving my screwdriver / nut driver storage problem by cutting a dozen 5 long pieces of 1.5 EMT and cramming those in the ends. Now every screwdriver and nut driver has a home and I know at a glance if Im missing something.

> 24 hourGreat tool bag I work in a flour mill and it has held up so fat except the shoulder strap. The clips are cheap and bend very easy and the finely they broke. My tool bag full is about 25 to 30 Lbs.

> 24 hourI havent ever been disappointed by a CLC bag and this is no exception. Works great for coax and ethernet cable work.

> 24 hourThe product is great. Fits all the tools I need for most projects I’m working on. I’m wondering how long it’ll last. When I received it in the mail all the tags were removed and the little case was missing. Didn’t have time to return and wait for a new one so I just ordered a cheap case to fit. Might have been a return or something.

> 24 hourThe bag is wonderful. Carries everything I need it to including my large 18 volt drill in the middle pocket. All tools, electrical tape, tape measure, everything. The only thing I wish I could buy again currently is the plastic storage bin on the end of the bag. With temps below 20º the clips on the container didnt hold up. Maybe constructed a little better for said temps could help. Using a bungee cord now to keep the lid on. The shoulder strap is good as well as the handle. Again, if I could purchase the small bin container separately, I would give this 5 stars. As that is really my only complaint. If I cant get the attention from the company with 3 stars, I will change it to 1. If you dont need the storage bin, you could place your drill there.

> 24 hourThe only improvement to make would be to make the small parts organizer out of metal. The plastic one is too easily broken.
