> 24 hourAfter moving into a house that had been empty before we moved in, we noticed a musty smell in one section of the house. Placed one of these just inside the intake vent for the HVAC unit and within a few days the smell wa gone. We continue to replace these periodically. Problem solved.

> 24 hourWe’ve used these Damp Rid devices in our RVs for years when storing in damp climates. Now that we live in a humid climate, we keep at least one open in it all the time to keep it from becoming damp and unpleasant smelling. We’ve never had mold or mildew while using them so I guess they work just fine! And the best thing is they have no odor if you order the original. I hate smelly products.

> 24 hourI have a refrigerator for medical usage. It has to be kept at certain low temperature and dry inside or I have to defrost it and the temperature will raise up to spoil the content. I keep this inside the refrigerator and it absorbs a significant amount of water. For me it filled up in just 2 weeks period. It is very easy to use. Just cut the pack and fill the dry powder in upper compartment. The water will be collected in lower compartment and just dump it out periodically. No chemical smells, it does not give out any warmth or heat during the chemical reaction whatever how it works. Very good.

> 24 hourI have an average 75% percent humidity in my house, and I really need humidity controls in my closets. I’ve had mold problems multiple times. And I purchased these to help mitigate the problem. Over the last month I have been using this product, I’ve had great results so far. With my application a 10.5 oz bucket of DampRid last about 1 month before liquefying. I checked the results with a humidity meter and it came out great. The bucket needs to be put on a plate because, as the product dries, it leaves a slightly greasy film on the outside of the bucket. I would have like to recycled the bucket for other uses, but grease film is too sticky. Pros: 1) Easy to use 2) Removes moistures effectively 3) No scent 4) Keeps closets fresh Cons: 1) Wish it lasted longer (for high humidity environments) 2) Leaves a greasy film on outside of bucket

> 24 hourIf you have a damp-humid area like a bathroom, this product really helps remove some of that moisture out of the area. Depending on how humid and how much moisture you have in the location will determine how many cups you put into that area. For example, in the bathroom I put one by the toilet AND another one under inside the cabinet vanity. every 2-3 weeks I dump the water it has collected and replace the pellets for another 2-3 weeks.
