Damprid works wonderful in my basement, it controls all odors and takes care of dampness

The crystals are pretty small, but the holes on the top are very large. When you first fill the container, its very easy to go and spill the whole thing. After a few days the crystals do pick up some moisture and start clumping together, so its ok after a while. I cut some of the permeable paper from some of those hanging moisture absorbers (with the paper on one side of the pouch holding the crystals and the pouch that picks up water below) and put that between the bucket and the lid - it works great! I think this would be a better product if the lid already had a paper/mesh layer. They work great though, and are overall easy to fill and place around the house.

I like the Damprid on a hanger. They can hang on closets and keep humidity out. The ones in the container are great for bathrooms and under kitchen sink areas. I use them all year round closets etc.

Damp rid does the job but it’s annoying they should be another way I’m taking moisture out of the year and into your closet the smell is OK but it can get costly after a couple of months and he put it in every room and under the sink but you can’t afford to do dehumidifiers to put under every place because they’re expensive to I’m not saying damp rid of expensive but over a period of time if you have eight every two months can add up A dehumidifier can get costly specially if you have to put in the kitchen in the bathroom in the bedroom with that room so I think might be a waste of money buying the damp rid instead of investing in a dehumidifier and maybe move it around to each room I don’t know that is my take on the humidifier with the little beads in it

Easy to use. I do not live in a high humidity area.

After moving into a house that had been empty before we moved in, we noticed a musty smell in one section of the house. Placed one of these just inside the intake vent for the HVAC unit and within a few days the smell wa gone. We continue to replace these periodically. Problem solved.

Ive used these before and they worked fine. When I got them a couple of months ago I opened two of the four and put them in my closets. They have done nothing Damp Rid is a very good product when it works. Next time Ill go back to the hanging bad.
