> 3 dayI have an average 75% percent humidity in my house, and I really need humidity controls in my closets. I’ve had mold problems multiple times. And I purchased these to help mitigate the problem. Over the last month I have been using this product, I’ve had great results so far. With my application a 10.5 oz bucket of DampRid last about 1 month before liquefying. I checked the results with a humidity meter and it came out great. The bucket needs to be put on a plate because, as the product dries, it leaves a slightly greasy film on the outside of the bucket. I would have like to recycled the bucket for other uses, but grease film is too sticky. Pros: 1) Easy to use 2) Removes moistures effectively 3) No scent 4) Keeps closets fresh Cons: 1) Wish it lasted longer (for high humidity environments) 2) Leaves a greasy film on outside of bucket

> 3 dayThese lil buckets are seriously great! I have them in 3 places with a back up under my sink with all my goodies and I am very pleased with my purchase once again from this brand. Comes with 4 very neatly packaged and ready to work in 5 seconds. Place them and wait. I check mine every so often and they work. Water sits at the bottom and when its out replace crystal and use the same buckets. How convenient. Dont stink and require no maintenance. Really curious? Buy em, promise you that they work ! Thanks for a great product, will be refilling when they are out!

> 3 dayI came to Amazon when I couldnt find any DampRid products in stores locally. Although this was not the particular item I wanted, I have used these before and found them to be very effective in eliminating moisture. These were also a price too good to pass up. The shipper very carefully secured the items in the box and the carton was received intact and without any breakage. Delivery was well within the estimated timeline. Ill surely order again if needed.

> 3 dayThe crystals are pretty small, but the holes on the top are very large. When you first fill the container, its very easy to go and spill the whole thing. After a few days the crystals do pick up some moisture and start clumping together, so its ok after a while. I cut some of the permeable paper from some of those hanging moisture absorbers (with the paper on one side of the pouch holding the crystals and the pouch that picks up water below) and put that between the bucket and the lid - it works great! I think this would be a better product if the lid already had a paper/mesh layer. They work great though, and are overall easy to fill and place around the house.

> 3 dayDifficult to pour crystals into container without spilling. Cannot see if any liquid is accumulating inside. If I gently shake the container to hear if there is any liquid inside, the crystals spill out. Have to put a plastic plate under the container in case it leaks.

> 3 dayWorks great. Collected a lot of moisture. Only downfall, the beads hardened and would not show moisture through for a couple of weeks.

Greater than one weekUse this in our closets at home and the cabin on our boat. It really makes a huge difference in the high humidity.

> 3 dayWe have a wine cellar that the people that built the home is right under the front entryway in the basement. So whenever it rains hard the cellar seems to get muggy and humid, strutted using theses a few months ago works great.

> 3 dayBefore I ordered this I read reviews and a lot of them said that the crystals just sticked together and didn’t melt. I ordered it anyway to try it out. It did stick together for the first few weeks but I just left it alone and after another few weeks they finally dissolved. Have some patience and they will dissolve. This is in our bedroom I’m not sure of the exact size but it is fairly big (the master bedroom of a 2-bed apartment), it did absorb moisture and decreased the mold/mildew smell from our room. Our apartment unit is under some dirt so it’s moist here all the time and there is mold every time. We always repaint the walls with mold paint every year during spring or summer (we live in WA). The scent of the product is okay though, it’s not strong. Make sure to paint your walls with thick anti-mold paint to completely get rid of the mold and mold smell though. But the product does a great job with absorbing, just have patience. This is not a paid review.
