> 3 dayMy closets are prone to dampness and these work well to eliminate any issues with mildew and odors. Depending upon weather conditions and humidity levels, they will last anywhere from three to six months. I prefer the unscented as I’m sensitive to scents.

> 3 dayThis is the easiest way to make sure any unwanted water inside your boat (for me under the waterproof covers) gets soaked up and doesnt become mildew. Opening up the boat in the spring after a long wet Seattle winter is so much nicer when I have put DampRid in the boat when I have it winterized. I put one in the front, one in the main cabin and one in the engine compartment and it works great.

> 3 dayI like near the ocean in an old Victorian, so to say my house and the air is damp is an understatement. Adding DampRid containers throughout my house, particularly in the bedrooms and closets has been beneficial. They do a good job at catching the moisture and I havent found fuzzy mold on my shoes or clothes since I started using these.

> 3 dayI like this product. Eliminates musty odors. I use them under my kitchen sink and noticed the odor that was there, is now gone. I use them in the bathroom too. They really work well for me.

> 3 dayThe crystals are pretty small, but the holes on the top are very large. When you first fill the container, its very easy to go and spill the whole thing. After a few days the crystals do pick up some moisture and start clumping together, so its ok after a while. I cut some of the permeable paper from some of those hanging moisture absorbers (with the paper on one side of the pouch holding the crystals and the pouch that picks up water below) and put that between the bucket and the lid - it works great! I think this would be a better product if the lid already had a paper/mesh layer. They work great though, and are overall easy to fill and place around the house.

Greater than one weekI put it in my classic car in South Florida and you can see the water accumulate at the bottom of the container.

> 3 dayI bought Damp Rid to use under my kitchen sink and in my bathroom. Since I live in a house that is well over 100 years old, moisture is ALWAYS a problem. I have been using these containers for a few weeks and I can honestly say there is a noticeable difference. I recommend these to anyone who has a problem with moisture of damp. The price for 4 is very reasonable and I will be purchasing more.

> 3 dayI’ve been using these (with the refill product) for years now. I change it regularly every couple of month (my closet is off the bathroom and even with a vent fan, there is a lot of moisture). Easy to refill and that helps save waste. They are plastic but have held up well.
