My mother has been using DampRid for years and got me hooked as well. These are simple to use and work to reduce moisture in excessively humid areas. These wont work miracles - you may need a dehumidifier depending on the size of your space and level of moisture - but for most people, these will be sufficient to help control humidity and potential mold. I use these in a weekend cabin during the warmer months as an extra precaution against humidity.

DampRid is working at getting rid of the dampness in our closets, and basement. No foul smell, the absorbency is unbelievable. It really does suck the moisture out of where you need it. I purchased these buckets to put in the RV over winter. I just checked on them and they are frozen solid. They are not working if they can freeze in the winter.

These lil buckets are seriously great! I have them in 3 places with a back up under my sink with all my goodies and I am very pleased with my purchase once again from this brand. Comes with 4 very neatly packaged and ready to work in 5 seconds. Place them and wait. I check mine every so often and they work. Water sits at the bottom and when its out replace crystal and use the same buckets. How convenient. Dont stink and require no maintenance. Really curious? Buy em, promise you that they work ! 3 of 4 worked perfectly. 1 solidified and had to be chopped up multiple times. You have to be careful if you have pets or small kids because if they get knocked over it’s a mess.

I like near the ocean in an old Victorian, so to say my house and the air is damp is an understatement. Adding DampRid containers throughout my house, particularly in the bedrooms and closets has been beneficial. They do a good job at catching the moisture and I havent found fuzzy mold on my shoes or clothes since I started using these.

My basement gets damp and I have used damp rod for years! I just have to remember to empty and refill! They are very easy to use and refill. Dump the liquid down the toilet. The hard rock like crystals turn to liquid as they absorb moisture. No odor and easy to place on shelves, floors etc.
