Ive used these before and they worked fine. When I got them a couple of months ago I opened two of the four and put them in my closets. They have done nothing Damp Rid is a very good product when it works. Next time Ill go back to the hanging bad.

Ive not had any water (humidity) collect in the lower portion of these, but they def keep my closest odor free! That alone is worth their affordable cost! Came with 4 bags of Crystals (one intended for each of the canisters) I only used 1/2 bag in each canister, so I still have 2 bags left and its still effective! The crystals are getting hard on top, which is what they are supposed to do. So Ill take it! Would purchase again

We have a wine cellar that the people that built the home is right under the front entryway in the basement. So whenever it rains hard the cellar seems to get muggy and humid, strutted using theses a few months ago works great.

Place these in closets and other closed storage during the humid months to absorb the excess water in the air (& so stored items won’t). Works as expected. Easy directions to follow

I purchased these buckets to put in the RV over winter. I just checked on them and they are frozen solid. They are not working if they can freeze in the winter.

I have an average 75% percent humidity in my house, and I really need humidity controls in my closets. I’ve had mold problems multiple times. And I purchased these to help mitigate the problem. Over the last month I have been using this product, I’ve had great results so far. With my application a 10.5 oz bucket of DampRid last about 1 month before liquefying. I checked the results with a humidity meter and it came out great. The bucket needs to be put on a plate because, as the product dries, it leaves a slightly greasy film on the outside of the bucket. I would have like to recycled the bucket for other uses, but grease film is too sticky. Pros: 1) Easy to use 2) Removes moistures effectively 3) No scent 4) Keeps closets fresh Cons: 1) Wish it lasted longer (for high humidity environments) 2) Leaves a greasy film on outside of bucket

These are easy to use. They have lasted for months already. No scent as they are fragrance free. Great product, great value. Will buy more when needed.

I purchased this for use in a large walk in closet, using three containers for the one closet. I immediately noticed the containers trapping moisture. However, they do not seem to have abated the damp smell of the large closet. In the end, while these do seem to work, for larger closets one may simply need to use a dehumidifier of some size to be the most effective. This has proved the most helpful to me, albeit not as easy to use as the passive moisture collectors.
