Absolutely beautiful color. Highly pigmented, mixes well, makes painting vibrant paintings easy. Ive used several brands of professional watercolors recently and these are my favorite so far.

I love this set of watercolors, it is great for beginners, as this brand is a little on the pricy side, not that they arent worth it, but as a very great starter kit, you get the primary colors, which lets you explore a bit more with mixing colors. This is the best.

They are excellent artist quality watercolours. A small amount of paint goes a long way. They are expensive, but well worth the money.

These are some fun watercolours if you want something different and love granulation. Most of the paints are usable, but the purple amethyst is very glittery and something I would only use for special occasions. The blue and green colours are my favourites in this set! The one star removed is because from the packaging the hematite looks like a rich, dark, earthy brown, but in my tube it is black! From my research this rock comes in both brown and black, so its possibly the black variety ended up here. Still, I cant complain too much about it because it is great for painting rocks and in general adding a grey, grainy layer to whatever you are painting. It has been about a year since I received my paint to my writing of this review, so its possible the black paint has been remedied. Still, a good thing to be aware of just in case.

Good range of colors, especially for beginners trying out quality products . This was my first set of tube watercolors, and Ill never go back to the typical pan set! I was surprised at the size of these tubes - I didnt know what to expect, but theyre much smaller that I couldve anticipated. However, the pigments are vibrant and the paint is thick. I have yet to run out of any of these tubes after a month of generous use. Furthermore, the six colors included are perfect for starting a permanent pallet arrangement. Each of the primary colors has a warm tone and a cool tone, so you can really mix about any hue, value, or shade you need with a little patience. I plan to reorder these colors in full sizes when I exhaust this sampler pack. If youre looking to try out some high quality watercolor paints but dont want to make an expensive commitment, this sampler is for you.

This is a great starter collection of Primatek colors. Top row excluding Bloodstone is this intro set. All the colors are very easy to work with and have lovely granulation properties. Jadeite is a wonderful vibrant green, and the sparkle in amethyst is truly gorgeous. Daniel Smith has some lovely options in their mineral-based watercolors, and I actually find myself drawn to them over the traditional colors due to their uniqueness.
