Die Lieferung hat ewig gedauert, einen Monat, und kam wohl durch die Corona-Beschränkungen nicht besonders gut voran. Man sollte auf jeden Fall Geduld mitbringen. Nicht alles was aus USA nach Deutschland geschickt wird, geht unterwegs verloren, manches schon. Ich will eigentlich nichts mehr aus den USA bestellen. Sorry... Der Preis hat mich dazu verführt, mich auf höheres Aquarellniveau zu begeben. Ich bin über die Winsor und Newton Cotman-Phase hinaus, male mit Van Gogh, oder Schmincke Horadam, oder Sennelier. Ich bin kein Profi. Daniel Smith sind teuer, deren Farbkarte ist jedoch atemberaubend Von dem schwer granulierenden schwarzen Hematite mal abgesehen (ist oben in der Darstellung nicht nicht abgebildet - stattdessen 2x Piemontite), finde ich die Auswahl des Sets sehr schön. Und ja, es macht Lust auf mehr. Die Pigmente der Primatek-Farben werden aus Mineralen/Halbedelsteinen/Schmucksteinen hergestellt. 5 ml Tuben sind halt winzig. Man kann mit dem Inhalt ungefähr 2 Halfpans befüllen. Im Vergleich mit anderen Verkäufern war der Preis für das Set top.

Daniel Smith makes the best professional watercolor paint from my experience so far (even best than Winsor & Newton). Very transparent, wonderful vibrant paint. This set has really great selection for a 6 colour palette! Way back before they had a set of these, I bought these same six colours for a minimal palette and used solely them for a few months with great results. You may want to add raw umber, raw sienna and burnt sienna eventually, but this is a wonderful starter. For the price, this might be the ideal step up to a professional grade paint if youve been using student amateur grade so far. Im recommending this to all my students who want to get a professional starter.

This is my first expensive watercolor which i bought.. And i absolutely love the way it bleeds with greatest pigment on a wet paper.... I think everyone should try this.....

Amazing quality paints! Highly pigmented and a little goes a long way with these, made myself and my friend small travel palettes and still half the tube left over. I will def invest in more tubes.

Lovely paints.

This set of watercolors has a warm and cool tone for each primary. The tubes are super tiny, however. They are good if you want to sample the much touted Daniel Smith paints or if youre not sure if you like painting with watercolors.
