> 3 dayThis kit has all the paints needed to make most colors when mixed. It arrived in great condition. Only thing is that Daniel Smith paint tubes seem chock full so be ready to dispense into a well on your palette or a pan ready to fill when you open the tube. I use a cut up old credit card to clear the paint from the cap prior to replacing the cap. Colors mix well, have vibrant color and last a long time as only a little goes a long way.

> 3 dayGreat colors, very small tubes. Shipping in an envelope resulted in a bit of smashing of tubes.

> 3 dayDaniel Smith produces beautiful colors, I already own the intro essentials kit and some others. I wanted to try Primatek so I grabbed this set. Overall stunning colors. These arent someone I would use daily, but they are perfect for adding just something extra to your images. If you love granulation, this is for you. It gives a gorgeous texture. Why did I dock a star? I feel like the video and packaging is misleading on Hematite. I thought it was more brown, and it looks more like a graphite color on various papers(high-low end). I can use it as I do a lot of outdoor work, but misleading none the less. I did order two other colors not in the set, one is more brown/gold so I hope that is more on par with what I was looking for, for landscapes. Overall, this will be great for a wash with texture, landscapes, water, even trees, but if you like extremely vibrant colors this Primatek set probably isnt for you. These are more pale than their standard colors unless you pack layers.

> 3 dayBrilliant colors and great watercolors. A great way to try out Daniel Smiths watercolors which are very transparent and mix well.

> 3 dayId like to start by saying that Im a hobbyist who loves to try new stuff all the time. Im a amateur in every sense of the word. But I am curious and I enjoying learning new things and dabbling in new hobbies. And on and off for the last year or so it has been watercolors. I started off using student grade paints (koi). Those were pretty good but the more I learned about watercolors, the more I wanted to experiment with high quality paints and learn to mix colors. I have since collected many paints of both student and artist quality. There is definitely a difference among the two. In my humble opinion, this is a great set to start with. There is a warm and cool version of the three primary colors, all with single pigments. If you want to dive into coloring harmony and color mixing, start here. In fact, when interested friends ask me about starting to paint with water color, I like to recommend this set. It is economical and logical. At the moment I am putting aside all my other palettes of watercolors and focusing on these 6 colors. I have filled a ceramic palettes with 9 wells. And I periodically squirt more color in as needed. And I can easily wipe away the mixing areas. No concerns about staining. Ive used these on traditional watercolor paper, Bristol paper and even some pages in s coloring book. The vibrancy of these paints is wonderful in any of these surfaces. Anyway, I am attaching some photos.

> 3 daySono ottimi! erano un regalo e sono stati graditissimi. Li ho anche provati e devo dire che si nota la qualità altissima del pigmento e la scorrevolezza del colore. Consiglio di spremerli e metterli nei godet o mezzi godet, così che possano durare un po di più.
