Daniel Smith paint is great artist quality paint, a little goes a very long way. This is a beautiful selection for a limited palette. I use the 1/2 pan palette I made from them for travel and the tubes for at home.

Im new to watercolors but I can tell these are great. They dry great in my pans and the colors are beautiful and vibrant. I followed advice of a tutorial that suggested 2 different brands. I chose wisely. Quality vs quantity.

but I do. Daniel Smith watercolors are officially my favorite! They are so vibrant, creamy, and granulating. Im self-taught, so the only other artist quality watercolors Ive used are Turners (which are lively). I started using watercolors in May of 2018...Im hooked!!! If you are on the fence regarding this set, jump off and buy them. You will not be disappointed (in my opinion).

Lovely colors! But the quantity you get is very less. It does granulate, but even certain camel artists watercolors do that.
