These are great hiking socks. I didnt have any shrinkage while washing and drying as others have said. They hold up very well to the trail, no noticeable wear so far. I wear a 10 mens and got the large size and they fit perfectly.

Great pair of ankle socks. Comfortable, warm and appears durable. Would recommend.

I would bet my husband is the hardest man on his socks ever. I bought him a pair of Darn tough 3 years ago. After near daily use (Long enough to to be washed) for about 8 months he got a hole. I sent them back and received a new pair. Then after a year of near daily use he got a hole again. I sent them back and received a new pair — again! He works construction and is often out of town. He couldnt wash his Darn Tough socks like usual so he bought other socks — two 6 packs. Within 2 months he put holes in every pair from those 6 packs! Happily Weve just ordered our first 6 pack of Darn Tough socks and are thinking these will be the last socks hell ever need to buy! LOVE these socks!

These are the most expensive socks Ive ever bought. So far my feet are loving them, and they seem like they will last. Time will tell.

Took a chance on these & my husband loves them for hiking. Bought him two more pairs. This is a pic straight out of wash. Have been through numerous times. Will be buying more when needed. The shorter ones are in back ground, but prefers 3/4.

I needed to add a few extra socks to my Darn Tough collection, which Ive had some of for over 7 years and they are still amazing. They are so amazing, I prefer them in a canvas boot while diving rather than neoprene. They are that amazing. The ones in the photo are not the 1/4 Im reviewing now, but the crew socks. Same toughness though, and Ive used the 1/4 in the water but prefer to roll the crew over the laces. Regardless if in saltwater, or desert heat, when they get soakes they will dry while you wear them, and youll never feel like your getting foot rot. Amazing quality in their build, and amazing quality in the wool. Point is, they are the best thing on Amazon nowadays.

These are the most well-made socks I’ve ever owned. The weave is tight, and they feel like they could last my entire life. And even if they don’t, Darn Tough has a guarantee.

I cant believe how durable these socks are. I go through socks quickly and I have a few pairs of these and they show no signs of wear at all.
