I purchased two ECO LLC Linear Actuator 12V 1000N High Speed 10 Inch 10 Motor 14mm/s with Mounting Brackets on Amazon to be used in tandem. Unfortunately one is 8 seconds slower to full extension than the other. I timed them when wired separately and together. Also, I noticed that one actuator ran rather quietly and consistently and the other ran twice as loud (this is a guess since I didnt actually test the db) but the sound also fluctuated during operation. This suggests to me a faulty actuator. I reached out to the seller privately but did not receive a response. I will amend my review if they rectify they rectify the problem as one of the actuators seems to work fine.

Some points at data sheet arent accuracy... To extend at maximum length you will have to wait around 30 sec which will be enough for some projects. Depends of you

What a relief to have an automatic chicken coop door. So far works perfect. Smooth operation, i cant imagine it not working for years. I am going to put one on a window in the coop that will be wirelessly and remotely operated from the house so i can operate as the whether changes. The cable on this is the safety so no possibility of a guillotine, at worst the weight of the door itself would be the only pressure and its very thin, light varnished yellow pine.

Bought 2 previously. One died in less than 3 months due to a stripped gear. Amp draw has been inconsistent between all 3, even spiking amps from binding non-concentric pinions&shafts. Overall they are fine for what i need, but the poor quality combined with slow & noisy operation leave much to be desired. Budget is only reason to buy these.
