DC HOUSE 12 Inch 12 High Speed 14mm/s Linear Actuator Motor 1000N DC12V with Mounting Brackets

Bought 2 previously. One died in less than 3 months due to a stripped gear. Amp draw has been inconsistent between all 3, even spiking amps from binding non-concentric pinions&shafts. Overall they are fine for what i need, but the poor quality combined with slow & noisy operation leave much to be desired. Budget is only reason to buy these.

Moves nice and fast but could not lift me. Im 160 lbs. Says it can lift 220lbs. Maybe it can lower 220 lbs. But I could not get it to straight lift over 150 lbs.

So far so good. I have installed this unit underneath my swimming platform on the back of my boat, as of right now this unit have last me throughout the entire boating season and still operate as if it was the day I bought it. However the black paint was peeling the day I received the package.

Works great, I installed this on a snowblower chute. It worked in -25 below temp, not fast but plenty of power. I would and will buy again for other projects.

I decided to check the gears in this thing and they mere metal and not plastic like other ones. Im sure they still have their limits and can brake but for what I use them they are enough. They are also fast and very quiet. Will buy more

Actually I use It for some specific purpose: to learn about actuators. It was very good for my experiments and unexpensive.

This unit performs as advertised. It has held up well so far.

Seems like the power just isnt there. I have other actuators that work much better.

I have had one in the past, needed another one for new machine. These work very well to move the snow chute on a big snow blower. Simple to wire up, strong enough for the job. Disappointed in the companys hardware kit to mount to the machine, sent cotter pins, brackets, but no connecting pins to hold the bracket and actuator together. I had to find my own.

It does the important: force said, speed said, long said. BUT it seems to have plastic gears. It sounds like a toy. I dont believe it will last enough. And I dont know if its used or the finish quality is very bad.
