I have ordered three of these in the last month. One I returned because I ordered it by mistake. No problem with the return. The other two work great.

Generallly this works OK, and meets its specs. However, the machining of the mounting pin holes is shockingly bad. Ordinary good manufacturing practices produce products with better tolerances than a hobbyist machine shop can. This is much worse than hobbyist machining level. The pin hole (at the motor end) is not perpendicular to the rod, which can be checked by mounting the actuator in one position (eg. motor facing east), and then remounting it after rotating it 180 degrees. On mine, the difference in rod end position was about 1.5 inches, meaning that the hole was drilled a couple degrees from perpendicular. Some hand filing with a rat tail file trued mine up enough to prevent binding, but of course, the hole is no longer round or straight. Suggested improvements: stainless steel anchor brackets and pins to make it more suitable for use outdoors. And, of course, standard machining.

Not enough push power for what I needed. Need to return. Can I get a return label?

Using a 12 V 4.5 amp power supply it would not lift 100 pounds. Under 50 pounds it worked fine. So …I did an experiment and applied the downward force on a scale. It again struggles over 50 lbs and died at 79lbs. This time using a 10A power supply to rule out the question of the integrity of the first power supply.

I purchased this in November 2022. The motor fell off 2 months later. Item is still under warranty. Contacted seller multiple times with no response.

I decided to check the gears in this thing and they mere metal and not plastic like other ones. Im sure they still have their limits and can brake but for what I use them they are enough. They are also fast and very quiet. Will buy more

it was to big for application,need smaller size

Works great, very powerful and perfect for what I needed it for. Will buy another one for another project.
