Not sure why this dock has been previously registered by Dell in Costa Rica. I have a feeling this is used. Another WD19S dock that I purchased through Amazon was already registered in Canada. And it broke in just a few months. I just dont think you can trust anything purchased through Amazon anymore.

Docking station worked great until it didn’t. I only use this on average 1-2 times per week. Purchased July 2021 and it stopped working already in March 2022

I went through some third-party chargers and hubs, the aftermarket products and hubs have a tough time charging and connecting multiple devices, this factory unit with the higher wattage, fits the bill.

Many updates might be needed on your computer for continued success of the product. Dont give up.

This review is not for the equipment but for the seller. In the product information, there was no indication of this unit being used or refurbished. Item arrived in an old dusty box which was shut close with a piece of tape. Inside, the unit looked rundown with fingerprints all over. Connected the unit to my system and updated my BIOS for compatibility. Both monitors turned on but after few minutes, one shut down and would not turned back on unless I unplug and reinsert the DisplayPort cable. Waited for this unit for almost a week and I was very disappointed when it arrived in a bad condition. I have returned the unit. My advice to the seller: Be truthful to your customers-

I bought this docking station for my new Dell computer. It never worked so I contacted Dell and gave the express number. The tech said that I needed to transfer ownership of the product by getting the name of pervious owner and fill out a transfer of ownership form on Dell website. I said that I will return it to Amazon for refund. Whoever heard a new product requiring transfer of ownership to get technical support from Dell on a new item?

I have one monitor with usbc wire, the other with hdmi. The device does not support them both together. If you use usbc port for your monitor, hdmi port is not supported anymore. I ordered display port cable since there is only one hdmi outlet, I will try hdmi and display port togther and update my review! Update: You can use hdmi and viewport outlets, it will provide you 2 monitor screens, which resolved my problem. Still, if you use usbc, hdmi will be disfunctioned. Update2: It stopped working completely.

    1. On average, once a week the RJ45/Ethernet port goes dead. Only after re-installing the drivers and rebooting the computer, the port comes alive and works. Other ports work fine. 2. Regardless of the room temperature / resource utilization of the computer, suddenly the fan goes full speed and comes down. This is erratic. No specific pattern to this. Note: Before calling the customer support, I tried everything. And unfortunately, the support ended yesterday and I tried calling the support today.

I wish they stop adding display ports on the docks now. This has two of them, I rather have more HDMI ports.

Needed new docking stations for use with Dell Latitude 3500 within a couple days. Product was received and functioned great! Easy to set-up and start using right away. No issues. Would by from this selling again in the future.
