> 24 hourIt works, its really bright. I have a 4amh battery on it and for light nightly use letting dogs out its still has 2/3 lights on battery after 3 weeks. Not sure why someone gives it 1 star for not focusable. Its bright. Done!

> 24 hourThis is probably the best work light I have ever owned. It is sturdy, and the best part is the adjustable head that allows you to point it up and down. There are work lights without an adjustable head, which makes them not anywhere in the same league as this light. I highly recommend this light.

> 24 hourThis flashlight grows on you. The hard part initially is getting over the ridiculous amount you pay for the flashlight-battery-charger combination (unless you already happen to own DeWalt tools of matching vintage.) But when you start using the flashlight regularly you get enamored of its quality build and flexibility in all scenarios (spotlight, work light, ambient light, etc.) Being part of the DeWalt tool/battery system is definitely a plus for this flashlight. With other rechargeable flashlights when the batteries would go bad I had to throw away the entire flashlight. With this one batteries seem to last forever, and when after eons they do go bad I only change the battery. The detachable battery system also lets me have 2 batteries; I always have one on the charger while I use the other one (or if I expect a very long flashlight session I take both with me. ) I agree with 2 criticisms made by other reviewers: a) The battery fits loose on the flashlight (earlier DeWalt battery-tool systems had a tighter fit, the downside is they required a modicum of strength to attach/detach) and b) the metal loop that you can hang the flashlight from is loose in its resting position, so it can be a bit if a cowbell when you walk. But these are nitpicks in an otherwise rock solid product.

> 24 hourWe use these for patrolling lines for the power company at night and they are excellent, they shine a very sharp beam a long way away and batteries last good too

> 24 hourBought this as a gift for my brother-in-law. He already had one from a set he bought and wanted a second one. He was really happy with it. I also have one myself from a set I bought and use it practically everyday when I go outside after dark.

> 24 hourAmazon groups the reviews for this light (DCL043) along with a much less powerful one. If you get the big light, youll be very happy with how bright it is. Honestly, the main issue is that its too bright and it would be nice to have a lower setting. The other smaller issue is that, while the light head goes from horizontal to straight up, theres not an easy way to angle it down from horizontal without laying it on its side. Its not a major issue, but it would be nice to get a little more downward range of motion.

> 24 hourI have always liked Dewalt tools and this light isnt big and bulky, fits in my toolbag with the rest of my Dewalt tools without taking up much space, just remember to remove battery because you dont want to have it turn on by accident and drain your battery.

> 24 hourThis is a great flashlight! Whether you are using it to work inside with, like in an attic or an electrical box or service panel or a crawl space, it is a very good helper! I recently went outside at night and grabbed this light to use because it was handier than any other one that I have. I was amazed at the brightness and the spotlight of it. I decided to buy another one to keep in my pickup truck. I thought it would be better than the regular flashlight I have had in my truck for several years. This one will stand up on its own, is adjustable, and would be a big help when changing a tire at night. It is easier to hold and brighter than a regular flashlight. I highly recommend!

> 24 hourI would definitely call this a spot light, not a work light - the ultra-bright beam is pretty specific, not omnidirectional - like a regular work light. It could work in a large open space or outdoor space. By far the brightest hand-held I’ve ever owned. There are 2 settings: high and medium. Honestly, it WILL light something up like daylight at 50 yards! If you want a very bright spot, this is it!

> 24 hourThe spotlight is the real deal. Living out in the country, I need something that can see across the yard (possums, raccoons, neighbors, etc.). You definitely could use this to shine light in your neighbors house and see whats up (though I dont recommend this, especially if they have big muscles). We use this all over the place - to walk around the property, doing projects around the house, when the power is off, etc. This is one of those holy s-word, I should have bought this sooner items. Go head and git it. Yall will be pumped when it comes. But the rodents and neighbors may not be super pumped. :)
