> 3 dayGot this because it was compatible with the batteries I already had and it’s easier than keeping D’s on hand. Wife loves it for walking the dog at night.

> 3 dayLiving in the country flashlights are just one of those things that are pretty much required. Cheap flashlights are great but when you only see retinas of an animal it makes it hard to discern a deer from a coyote. I have had a streamlight fire Vulcan (https://www.amazon.com/Streamlight-44450-Standard-Flashlight-Shoulder/dp/B001CWQQOO/ref=sr_1_12?hvadid=77996657376902&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&keywords=firefighter+streamlight+flashlights&qid=1574024962&sr=8-12) which I cannot give high enough praise - it pours a concentrated beam of light easily a 1,000 feet and a charge lasts a long, long time. I expected to use this flashlight more for work than at night, but I quickly found that this light has the reach of the stream light but a much larger field of view. At 1,0000 feet the stream light beam may be 20 ft wide, at 1,000 feet this beam may be closer to 100-150 feet. it provides an impressive field of view, but the red light is also great for use for more close up work and does not attract those summer pests. The fact that it works with all my 20v max batteries is just one more plus. I do whish the light had two bright settings, but honestly am extremely happy to have it despite that oversight. When the power has gone out the red light seems to hardly drain the battery and provides great indoor illumination just to set on a table and shoot the beam straight up.

> 3 dayThis spot light is incredible. Much better than the rechargeable spot lights from Walmart. If your already in the DeWalt 20vdc lineup and need a spot light it’s a no brainer. If you are just looking for a spot light and don’t already have DeWalt 20vdc tools I’d probably look elsewhere as the cost of batteries and charges for DeWalt stuff needs to be accounted for as this is a Bare Tool.

> 3 dayHave not tested battery life. Depends on battery Amp Hour rating and age of battery. Over all this is small enough to fit most cramped work spaces. The big flood lights create shadows and miss the area of interest. My only iten for a wish list is a brightness control.

> 3 dayI originally used this light at my work’s shop. Decided to order one for myself. Good light for all sorts of jobs. I use it all the time. Battery life just depends on what size battery you’re using, but I typically put one of my 1.3ah or 2ah ones on it and it pretty much lasts all day, with more juice to spare. Brightness is fairly decent, however, for the most part, I’ve used this for more “close up” jobs where I didn’t need to light up a whole room or a larger area, just the area close to me. So on that front I cannot express whether it would be good for larger projects where you would need bigger areas lit up. Night vision (?) I have no clue, but I’ve used it to see things in dark basements, under vehicles at night, and in unfinished rooms with no live electric. In All of these instances, this light has proven its worth. I’m extremely satisfied with it.

> 3 dayThis is the 2nd DeWalt flashlight we have bought. We have one in the shop and now one in the house. It is flexible and can be adjusted to any angle. Just what we needed.

> 3 dayBought it as a gift for my husband and he loves it! Light weight, bright, decent battery life. The swivel head makes using in tight spaces amazing.
