> 3 dayThis thing is bright, ill give it that. But the joint for the rotating head seems loose and the overall product weight makes it feel cheap.

> 3 dayThe light has a flat stable base that keeps it from getting knocked over. Swivel head makes it easy to us hands free. I have used this to light up the back yard, work on cars and general handy work around the house. It is nice and bright and have used for at least three hours continuously.

> 3 dayDrank the Kool-aid and bought several DeWalt tools and 20vMax batteries. Tired of typical/regular battery operated flashlights, decided to buy this since it was compatible with all of my 20voltmax lithium ions. This tool is light weight but rugged. Simple pistol grip with two modes. Full white LED and red. The white is as advertised. Enough lumens to make the neighbors across the street (+300feet) flip me off and close their blinds when I shine it in their windows. Has a semi-tight center beam that spots targets over a hundred feet away as well as a wide perimeter spread that illuminates your immediate surroundings. One 1.5ah 20vmax battery seems to last forever. Trigger switches between full-on white-blasting light to red light. Which is also bright enough so you wouldnt stare into it without blinding yourself red. Curiosity made me turn the light on (white) and press it against my face/cheek. The surface of the glass did not get hot but the light emitting from the LEDs felt like it might cause a sunburn (or get a tan?) after about 90 seconds. ....20 minutes of turning on and off, shining on the neighbors and trying to burn my face hardly drained the 20vmax. Cant wait to shine it in your review mirror when you are driving 20mph below the speed limit in the passing lane.

> 3 dayI love these heavy duty work lights. Make sure you use the Dewalt batteries in this, or the aftermarket Dewalt batteries. Some people say those batteries are interchangeable, but I dont wan to risk ruining my batteries or my tool. Also the metal thing is so you can hang it whilst working. Try to get this on sale as this are kind of expensive for a flashlight, but I do really enjoy that its heavy duty.

> 3 dayThese things are great, however they are expensive especially since they do not come with a battery. Luckily that was not an issue for me as I already have a few Dewalt power tools that use the same battery. I had one of these in my cart for about 6 months, I was having hard time justifying spending ~$80 on a battery-less flashlight. Then one day I logged into my account and found Amazon was running a special on them, ~50% off. I clicked buy now. They are definitely worth 40-50$ range. Even with a small 2 amp hour battery the light will work a really long time. The spotlight beam is really bright and the red light is great for providing ample light at night to see without blinding you.

> 3 dayFirst off this isnt my first or only Dewalt light. I also own several other Dewalt tools so Im somewhat invested in the brand. The light is bright and provides more than enough light. What I dont like about it is that it doesnt give you the option to control which light you want, brightness, or quick on and off. So basically the on/off button works like this, press once and the main light turns on, press it a second time the red light turns on, third press and it is off. Not a big deal but sometimes it is nice to be able to reduce the brightness and be able to quickly turn on and off the light.

> 3 dayWhat a HUGE difference! My Dewalt LED flashlight arrived on time in great condition. I already had a 20-Volt charger for my Dewalt 20-volt impact drill so charging it was a snap. A short while latter I slid the battery pack onto the LED flashlight body and hit the switch and WHAM, a brilliant beam of light poured out from it. (Cue choir of singing angles) Never have I had such a bright beam of light like that. (almost had to check to make sure it didnt burn a hole into the wall) Now my LED light comes with me into dark, tight places and its like day light in there. Under the house, in the attic, back of closets and shelves. Nothing is able to hide from me any more. It is maneuverable, sturdy, durable, light weight. I have dragged it through rocks, dirt, insulation, beams, joists, wires, bumped and banged it. Its a tough little thing. I once loaned it to our termite inspector in the attic and all he could say was, HOLY COW! Where did you get this flashlight? (some words may have been changed to maintain a G rating) I told him I got it at Amazon.com.
