> 24 hourWe have needed these silica packs for a while. We dont have air-conditioning & its rained A LOT since last fall.(Texas was in a 7 year drought.) Everything gets wet-feeling inside. These small packs are just perfect for smaller items like salt shakers, herbs, etc. that you dont want in a clump. I even use one or two in shoe boxes.

> 24 hourBought these to use with fruit I dehydrate at home. If left out or just in a baggie or other container, they slowly re-hydrate with any moisture in the air. They seem to work quite well, but not sure about the length of time they would last since the fruit gets eaten pretty quickly. :-) Theyve been good for 3 or 4 days so far.

> 24 hourI used to pressure can vegetables until I discovered dehydration. The time, space, and sheer weight savings by dehydrating have retired the pressure cooker. But oxygen and moisture will destroy dehydrated goods. Rather than using vacuum seal bags, mason jars are perfect storage vessels, easy to see contents, easy to use some, and reseal the jar. These, in conjunction with oxygen absorbers, have been used in storage for three growing seasons now, with NO spoilage issues!

> 24 hourI love these little desiccant packets! The size is perfect since I put one in almost every jar of dry goods I have. Every time I make a spice mix or store dry goods in a jar, I add at least one of these. Since they are small, I can fit one into even the small jars. I also love that you can recharge them which makes them a great value.

> 24 hourI recently started making my own cleaning products and found out that things with borax and/or washing soda tend to clump after a while. I put a few of these packets with those products and store them in a glass jar. It really helps prevent the problem.

> 24 hourgot these for my daughter, she does a lot of dehydrating and spice mixing. it can be pretty humid here and can causes issues with that at times. I thought they would be helpful as they are rechargeable/reusable. she was excited to get them a try and liked that they are rechargeable/reusable.
