Greater than one weekVery entertaining and fun book, good characters and quite a interesting storyline to read to me it was a good attempt at giving the reader a real look at the way a horse might think

> 3 dayHow does a person react when life changes so dramatically that it affects every acquaintance and loved one? Very few face changes as dramatic as those affecting Dun Ladys Jess, a beautiful young mare who enters a parallel world as a dreadfully confused young woman. The book is one of the delights of the fantasy genre and a must-read for every horsewoman. A lovely read.

> 3 dayLoved this book. Have already read half of Book Two and plan to buy Book 3. I am not normally a fantasy book reader but I always notice horses being a lifelong lover of and owner of horses most of my life. Just quirky enough to really be interesting to me. Am so glad Ms. Durgin was able to regain control of Book One.

> 3 dayI Loved this Book! Im a horse lover and owner, so I could imagine The feeling what Lady and Jess felt as they did. Im not going to ruin it for you by telling you parts of the story. But if you love horses and magic then this book will take you on a great ride! I couldnt put it down, so much action I wanted to know what was happening. Warning down start to read this book late at night!! Ill start at 11:00 pm and the next time I checked it was 2:30am. That was even after I took my sleeping at 11:00! Cant wait to get the next book.

20-11-2024This was a fine story, and such a novel concept: a horse transformed into a woman.

> 3 dayWonderfully written with a bit of romance on the side. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Even if your not fond of magic books you could still like this one as it has just the right mixture of suspense, action, thinking, and direction! Loved it!

> 3 daySeems like Ive read a lot of books lately where there is a fresh new concept, the first half is brilliantly executed, then it turns into formula junk that could have been turned out by any hack writer. What gives?

> 3 dayI enjoyed the author playing with the idea of a horse becoming human. The romance was nice and not overbearing. There were enough questions raised to keep a person interested in the series. The writing flowed well. I somehow lost a little interest during the climax, but then action is not my favorite genre.
