> 3 dayLoved this book. Have already read half of Book Two and plan to buy Book 3. I am not normally a fantasy book reader but I always notice horses being a lifelong lover of and owner of horses most of my life. Just quirky enough to really be interesting to me. Am so glad Ms. Durgin was able to regain control of Book One.

Greater than one weekThis was a wonderful book! I loved how the author saw the world thru the horses eyes, the confusion, the love, the longing and wonder of living and experiencing life from two different perspectives. It was magic. Thank you for the delightful read.

> 3 dayHow would a horse react if suddenly turned into a human? And dumped into an unfamiliar world to top it off? This is the premise of this book. With it this author weaves an intriguing story with wonderful characters, non-stop action, and interesting solutions to unique problems. Get ready to love a new author.

> 3 dayDoranna Durgin is a very good fantasy writer, and her Changespell Saga is very re-readable. Shes the only author I know who has based a story on a horse becoming human, and handles this very tricky and difficult situation deftly without oversimplifying it. Her characters are engaging and her plots intriguing and exciting. I need to reread the rest (its been years) so I can find out what happens next!

> 3 dayI found Dun Ladys Jess (The Changespell Saga) by Doranna Durgin an unforgettable story. It is so unusual, it really gets the imagination going and I could not put it down. I had to get the second book in this series and found it just as good as this book.

> 3 dayThis is a wonderful book full of magic and spells and even some romance. Dun Ladys Jess is a horse that belongs to Carey, a courier for a good wizard sent on a run to deliver important documents. On the way theyre attacked and suddenly transported to our dimension where Jess awakens as a woman. Her reaction and that of the people that befriend her is told in a completely believable way. If youre a fan of wizards, spells, danger and a little romance, this is highly recommended. Ms Durgin does a great job of bringing other worlds to life and making a horse changing into a woman completely believable. Five stars for this one.
