Where I live there are many power outages and low and/or high spikes in power, and one of my tvs suffered the consequences. I bought this surge protector to protect my other tv and it has worked perfectly. Would have preferred a longer cord, but up till know, this one is working fine

It does it job nothing more nothing less, now about lightning strike, never heard of any product protect against that best to still unplug everything during storm due to fact nothing survive a direct hit from lightning. It fireproof so thats something good and actually needed still recommend putting it on a piece of tile if you put it on floor if you put it on wall well check it now and again make sure everything working properly to prevent anything unnecessary problems, good product for good price

I think Ive had this almost a year now and it has held up to power outages and daily use. May 2023 - This is still the nicest one Ive owned, and I still love the green glow that lets me know its still working!
