> 3 dayThis product looks good, has a nice green light on it and even has some ports that can be covered from dust, the length of the cord is a tad small but other than that its great.

> 3 dayIts a great surge protector EXCEPT the green indicator light is so bright you can read by it at night! I do not recommend this power strip be used in the bedroom or any other place where people sleep.

> 3 dayI use this to hide my cords behind my wall-mounted TV. Its low profile enough to plug in the TV, Apple TV, PVR and sound bar, and still fit behind the low profile TV mount. It does have a green glow from the LEDs near the on/off switch, but its only visible at night with the lights off. If it really bugged me, Id just cover it up with electrical tape. Overall, Im very happy with this.

> 3 dayBest surge protector out there. Fireproof, who could ask for anything more. I bought this for my Harman pellet stove and know its protected from surge. The green light that lights up is not overwhelming, just nice. If the green light does not light anymore, then its time for a new one. Very good quality. [ It is also UL listed for safety. ] Stay away from ETL anything electrical. Good purchase and would buy again. Update; this is the third on we bought, we will not buy any otherones, this is the best.

12-04-2025Amazing outlet. Love it. This is the second one I bought. I love the slim design of it and the added security of the protection. My only dislike is the cord coming out of the outlet. Id love to see one of these without a cord sticking out. In other words I cant place it behind a shelf without having my shelf sticking out. Its a great product and I do plan on continuing business with them.

> 3 dayI would have preferred a wall surge protector. However, the cords of some of my devices wont allow for that so I have to opt for a corded surge protector. This Echogear surge protector, as I found after looking through various websites for advice, is an excellent surge protector for small and sensitive household devices like laptops, printers, tablets, and cellphones (this particular surge protector does not have any usb port). The surge protector works well and I like its low profile. The green led indicator lights (grounded and protected) are not as disturbing as some reviewers make them out to be. On the contrary, it is a plus for me as I can see instantly whether my devices are protected or not. The 8 outlets are well spaced to allow for a maximum of three larger adapters. But theres more. Unlike many other corded surge protectors, this offers 3,420 joules which is more than adequate for most household users. More than that, unlike most other surge protectors, this comes with a 5-year warranty and a connected equipment damage warranty to boot. Others at best offer only a 1-2 year warranty and only secondary insurance warranty. Further, unlike most other surge protectors, the clamping voltage is clearly stated - 330V for L-N 400V L-G, and 400V N-G. Almost all handyman and reputable review websites advice is to look for surge protectors offering 330V or less; anything more than 400v is considered too high. Overall, this is a real value for those who need corded surge protectors.

Greater than one weekThe cord was just the right length, although the cord was kind of hard to maneuver. I love the size and the style with the light feature that makes it easy to see that it is still working. I also like that it has more joules than most others I researched.

> 3 dayThis is a really nice product. I like how it lights up green to match the green lights on my sons monitor.
