What matters most in a surge protector above and beyond everything else in the #1 slot is Clamping Voltage #2 Joule Ratings #3 Everything else (number of outlets, cable length, built in fancy features like USB ports, coax line filters, brand, and warranty backing claims..etc) Clamping Voltage recommendation by experts is 400v or less, or triple 400v per, 400-400-400 ; this one has 330-400-400. Joule ratings = the higher the better, but at least 3000 should be good, this one has 3420 joules. And a 5 year / 25k dollar protection. 1 year in and I have it connected to my computer desk with a few things plugged in, many power outages, and sudden light flickering resets, but so far so good. The typical generic power strip with no surge protection benefits (8 outlets) is probably around $15 or more, why not buy this one or one like it when its on special for just a little more money, and get some protection benefit. The only thing I dont like is that the outlets are spaced a bit too close, so a couple outlets are blocked off, or in my case can only be used with thin 2 pronged plugs.

This item is well made. it fit perfectly under the dresser. It is weather ready with the power from storms. I too love the green light that shines for easy to fine9 when the dark.

This surge protector is really good. It does change color to let you know that something is wrong before it shuts down. That was a plus! It is used for computer equipment.

It’s been working as designed since I received it. Plenty of places to plug things into. I’m happy with my purchase.

I like the value of the power strip and the warranty compared to the Amazon Basic version. I bought three because of the great reviews and because it was supposed to have more space dedicated for larger power adapters. But I was very disappointed that when you connected large power adapters, it still blocks some of the other outlets. I did try using the three outlet ports meant for large power outlets, but it blocks some of the smaller ones so I still cannot connect the number of devices I needed on the power strip that I planned on. I only have three larger adapters I planned on using. Im considering returning them for a different one because theres not enough space for the large adapters as advertised.
