Cord was a little short, we had to use an extension cord. We had a short in one plug in and the protecter shut off things to protect the other things we had plugged in. We have our TV, sattileite, DVD player, etc plugged in the surge protector.

The switch is located in a good spot,. For instance, you have it under a computer desk or work bench, you wont accidently kick it or rest your foot on the switch and turn it off.

It would be nice if a couple of outlets rotated so large box plugs didnt cover up other outlets.
