Cord was a little short, we had to use an extension cord. We had a short in one plug in and the protecter shut off things to protect the other things we had plugged in. We have our TV, sattileite, DVD player, etc plugged in the surge protector.

My mother is 95 years old and uses an electric chair for the stairs. Unstable electric power ruined the chair’s mother board. She hasn’t had any issues after installing this surge protector.
