> 3 dayThe unit does a great job, its just annoying that it cannot simply do basic interaction. For example, I use Voicemeeter which is best controlled by the Macro Buttons application. Thats nothing more than on-screen buttons ; so itd be nice if you could simply scope the button to the on-screen area and emulate a tap/click, as an example. Hot keys work, but theyre buggy and not reliable. Once I downloaded the specific plug-in for Macro Buttons it worked great. Just not a fan of having to install different plug-ins rather than tap/click emulation which would work with any program.

> 3 dayWe purchased this in hopes that it would help us improve our workflow for when we livestream. Before we had this in our hands we found ourselves clicking allot, navigating through menu items, and using alt-tab allot. This takes time and can be prone to human error. Since purchasing this product, customizing for our use, and becoming familiar with the operations we have improved our workflow and overall livestreaming quality.

> 3 dayI’ve been using this for about 2 weeks now and I must say that this thing is awesome! Really wasn’t expecting this product to blow my mind away but once you understand how to use it and how you can manage your live streams I GUARANTEE you’ll fall in love with this thing!! I would buy the smaller version of the stream deck first though before paying the extra money for the XL. I hardly have 8 buttons I use but I’m sure the more I use it the more creative I’ll get into making this product worth even more my while. Five star! Good job “El Gato”!!!

> 3 dayI work live events and this can control an unbelievable amount of software and hardware. Anything from Spotify, qlab or Roku to video switchers, robo cams, sound boards, and light boards. Definitely worth it. Get the one with the most buttons you wont regret getting the smaller one then.

> 3 dayThe Stream Deck offers a lot of functionality in a small form factor. The build quality is solid, it feels nice to work with the unit. The buttons are easy to program although they do not always seem to provide basic functionality as described (e.g.: taking a screen shot). This does not work and it is not clear why not. The LEDs provide a clear indicator what the button’s functionality is for, at that particular time. It is extremely easy to reconfigure them as required. Even for non-streamers this product offers a nice range of functionalities for the user’s workflow in a visually pleasing and tactile interface.

> 3 dayI LOVE the Stream Deck so far. And let me say that you DO NOT need to be a streamer to use or benefit from one of these devices. I am a YouTuber and I have already used the Stream Deck while streaming and to help with my video editing. PROS: - The Stream Deck is small and doesnt take up much desk space (photo comparison to my keyboard). - The construction of it is mostly hard plastic along with the stand. A metal shell would be even better, but the plastic feels really nice and sturdy. - The stand is quite useful and has notches so you can adjust the angle at the device is sitting at. If you dont like the stand, you can just set the device directly on your desk. - The keys/screens actually get quite bright and the colors are accurate. You can adjust the brightness on the application itself which is handy especially if youre working in a dark area. - The software that controls the device is user friendly and intuitive. - The initial batch of controls/integrations is quite impressive and I look forward to future updates for even more controls. - The ability to create folders is a nice feature and allows for up to 210 unique controls to toggle at your fingertips. - Aside from the streaming controls, the Stream Deck is extremely useful in day-to-day productivity (I use it to launch hotkey shortcuts in Adobes Creative Cloud software). - It is very easy to create and change the icons on the device. I create all of mine custom in Photoshop and it takes any 72x72 JPG or PNG image file. CONS: - The buttons feel a little mushy and sometimes it will register as you hitting them twice -- but it is easy to avoid. - The tiny LCD screens seem a little off-center, so I have been shifting the main focus of my icons to the right by one pixel to make it look more center on the device. - I wish the USB cable was removable from the back, and it is quite short, but it can easily be attached to an extension USB cable if you need it to reach further. - Sometimes when going in and out of folders quickly, icon images from the previous screen will still be displayed. This seems like mostly a software glitch and will hopefully be patched in an update. EXTRAS: - For the more tech-savvy folks out there who are interested in doing custom commands and scripts with this device, I have been using AutoHotkey. - AutoHotkey is free to download and has a lot of good documentation. - Some use cases of it are that it allows you to carry out mouse interactions, the ability to send text, read text, create variables, and so on. In conclusion, this device has a TON of potential! I played around with it for a few hours when I first got it and quickly learned and set it up the way I wanted. If you need a tool to help with streaming and/or productivity on your computer, look no further! Hopefully future updates to the software will just keep expanding the possibilities.

> 3 dayThis the best investment Ive made for my driving rig. I have this setup to control everything in my games, American Truck Sim and Euro Truck Sim. It did take time to set it all up, but I love it!!

> 3 dayI got this thing thinking it would be bigger smaller than expected…when ever getting the 6 key deck just remember don’t go thinking the buttons a big. But other was I got it for a sweet deal of 50 dollars on sale, couldn’t pass up on that offer. Waiting on my pc so I can test out the actual screen and the app for it and etc but otherwise it’s fine. 4/1/2023 Update it work great for regular use but the only problem is that every time I turn on my pc I have to open the software then it starts working

> 3 dayThis stream deck is amazing, very easy to set up and used. I have three profiles assigned to it, for gaming, programming, and social media/work. This deck is very customizable from your icon down to the button configurations, You can control OBS, Streamlab OBS, Twitch Studio, Elgato Capture Card, and Elgato Wave 1 & 3 and so much more. I use my stream deck on my Macbook Pro while my partner use her on a windows computer so it can be used on a Mac or Windows. Pros: Very easy to setup Very well made Easy to use Can be used for more than just streaming Cons: Should of got the XL with 32 buttons lol
