Greater than one weekThis is a review on the XL version and the pros and cons for consumers whilst compared to cheaper macro keyboards. First off I would like to say that this product is really good for what it does but there are drawbacks as well. Pros: -Great tool for workflow not just streaming > assign keys to do many functions that are not limited to streaming software. -LCD screen lets you see what the buttons are (this is important because without this knowing and using a keyboard like this will be based on your memory which brings me to the next pro) -Key Functionality is not limited to the number of keys on your stream deck so anyone looking at the XL I recommend the 15 key version. What I mean by this is on your stream deck the number of keys you have does not limit you to just that number of keys and because of the LCD it allows you navigate the keys with Pages/Folders. With the software built out like this your limited number of keys becomes an infinite number of actions per key. -Profile key setup : allows you to bind an application to the profile so that if you open the specified application it will bring up the necessary keys configured for said app. This builds up the limitation of the number of keys as well. For example I am using a word document and because I configured certain keys for that it will bring it up on my stream deck and then I close word it will revert to my default profile with specific keys configured etc.. This can go on and on allowing more functionality for your keys. -Latency when it comes to products like these typically feel like chinese hardware but not this it feels premium and works premium, button activation happens so smooth so if it ever feels slow its most likely your PC. Cons: -No built in memory -Need Software for device to work -Wireless functionality -Expensive compared to macro keyboards Things the company can do that I think will improve the product is working with Razer to integrate into the software, onboard memory and wireless. This can also give it a nice Razer aesthetic. Just my thoughts.

> 3 dayThis product has literally changed the my workflow on my computer. I spent the first couple of days setting up customer profiles for a bunch of software that I use regularly and now I cannot live without it! I use the stream deck to control my lights in my room to using applications on my computer plus it is a great tool to use if you are streaming or recording yourself for a video. I can definitely recommend this product with my full backing and although having the XL version is amazing, you can definitely still do some incredible things with the smaller ones. But overall amazing product!

> 3 dayI lover this thing I may dable in game streaming but there are many more things to use this tool for than Streaming. I would recommend watching some YouTube videos that show you what you can do with this thing. Try searching stream deck for non streamer.

> 3 dayIf youre just half a geek, it may not be for you. I understand investing the time to set up one box to control everything so that when streaming one can just touch a button, but I find having another piece of hardware that accesses apps and whatnot on my computer is just cumbersome and not worth setting up. Also, it seems like the app for this device takes over and gets its software hooks into other apps. I could be wrong, but had problems with OBS and my camera after installing the app for this device. Good luck.

> 3 dayNot a gamer, but can see where this would be handy for that. I use it for Cubase, Sonar, Reason and Ableton Live. Great for shortcuts in DAWs. Also handy as shortcuts to often used programs. (i.e. Open up a specific Word or Excel Document that is often used at the push of a button instead of having to open Word/Excel, then finding and opening the document. Easy to use, Easy to set up and invaluable for musicians who use DAWs.

> 3 dayThis thing has been so fun. Some of my favorite buttons are: - See how many users are in a voice channel as a button - Join/leave said voice channel (toggle) - Enable Hue Sync so my lights match my game - Mute microphone - Adjust Hue lights around my house - Toggle smart plugs around my house Plenty more can be done, but those examples are some of my favorites. Theres also gimmicky stuff you can do, like you can also set up to play a memory game or do a Matrix-style cascading screensaver. Lots of fun, lots of uses, highly recommend.

> 3 dayNot a gamer - but as a business owner I discovered that I wasted so much time every day logging in and out of websites using passwords and 2 FA. The Stream Deck logs me into any website or program I use every day in business with one click of a button. If I save 20 minutes a day by using my stream deck x 365 days a year - Ive just bought back 121 hours of my time each year - which translates into 3 x 40-hour work weeks. I cant believe how much time this has saved me. I now have a stream deck at each workstation - both at home and the office.

> 3 dayI bought this because I stream at least once and wanted to have a better show when I do. The Elgato Stream Deck instantly made streaming easier and better. The one thing I love the most about the Stream Deck is that I can automate pretty much everything to a button. Before I would forget to tweet during my streams because who wants to stop playing to grab their phone to tweet. Well now I can do it by just pressing a button without stopping my play. I also like that when Im ready to stream. I press one button to start my OBS, another button to bring up my twitch channel, another button to tweet and another to start my stream. Way easier if you ask me. You can assign images, memes, sounds, video, applications, and more to a button. If you are using twitch it will even tell you how many people are viewing. It just makes your streams better by allowing you to focus on your audience and the game while adding everything you need at your fingertips. Pros: Very Sturdy product Folders Bright Keys Hotkey Assignments Cons: No support of xsplit or YouTube Gaming Short cord Buttons are sometimes too sensitive
