I am using this deck with Sterling Trader Pro. Works like a charm. Previously I would fat finger buttons or forget short keys. Now none of that happens anymore. Super happy I got this little helper. Just a fyi - if you intend to use this with sterling make sure you run the software as an administrator or it will not work. Good luck.

I regularly draw on a pen display that I have disabled the quick touch buttons on because I am left-handed and would frequently hit them accidentally with my palm. This, unfortunately, creates a situation where I do not have quick access to frequently used actions and have to either turn and use my keyboard every time I need access to a shortcut function or I have to fish through menu options with my pen. Both of these options result in wasted time and lowered enjoyment of my hobby. Ive tried to find programmable keypads in the past but have been highly disappointed that most products that met my specifications were ergonomically designed to be operated by your left hand (one example is the Razer Tartarus). Seeing as I draw with my left hand that was never really an option. Coincidentally I have a friend who streams who asked me if I had ever looked into stream decks. Humoring him I decided to give them a look and lo and behold it was exactly what Ive been looking for this whole time! The programmable keys let me macro every single action I use regularly, Its small enough that its not obtrusive and I can set it to the right of my display while I draw. I love the programmable displays on every button because they help serve as a visual reminder of what every key does as well as make it that much more aesthetically pleasing. I would highly recommend this to any digital artist, especially those who are left-handed like myself.

This is a great little device that can be useful for office workers too. I find very interesting that its so heavily marketed towards streamers. I received it today and after playing with it a little bit, I ended up adding a few stock tickers, controls for Spotify and Hue lights, and three clocks with time zones (I worked remotely for a company in a different time zone). I only regret now not buying the Stream Deck with more keys. Highly recommended!

I have the original 15 key and the stand for it was/is horrible. With the folder system now its super easy to make use of the 6 keys (6 folders all with 5 buttons). My main use for this is Spotify, DIM, and Discord with it all working perfectly. For audio this is pretty bad I would recommend a Beacn Mix if you are looking for a simple audio control device.

(EDITED TO UPDATE USB PORT INFO) I use this for hotkeys in DAS pro while day trading. It is very easy to configure and very easy to use. USING WITH A USB HUB: Some report that using this with a USB hub is difficult, and I did experience problems early on. However, on a Windows 10 laptop, I have it connected to a ACASIS 16 port powered hub, and the system powers up and down without losing connection to the Streamdeck XL. Every once in a while it loses connection, and requires a unplug-plug-back-in (which I do by power cycling the port on the hub using the button on the hub) but this is a very rare occurrence. On a MAC, I am using the standard 15-button Stream Deck on a Sabrent 7 port powered hub, and it works flawlessly there as well. HERE IS THE ORIGINAL OUTDATED PORTION REGARDING USB HUBS THAT IS NO LONGER VALID: (Beware that you must connect it to a USB port on your computer and not to a hub. If you connect it to a hub, you will need to unplug it and plug it back in after booting your computer every time. I have it on a hub where I can switch on and off each individual port with a button.)

As a startup streamer, its a great tool to have, since you can stop relying on key combos to switch scenes, alt-tab to play/pause media, Its a great tool to have, and all of the keys an be assigned different functions or even keystrokes! Myself I currently use to quick-manage my stream scenes, and for a couple of games and Ive not been disappointed thus far. Highly recommended!

I loved my standard Stream Deck so much, I had to upgrade to the XL version! I do both video editing and livestreaming, both of which I use this heavily. For live broadcasts its almost a requirement, and for post production it simply makes my life easier. But also, given the customization of this thing, you can also do a ton of other things to improve workflow. Example, with the push of a button, you can open your email, socials, applications, and play music all at once. I literally have a button labeled start work day that runs a ton of things. If I could nitpick, the angle of view isnt adjustable, and if you use this with a USB hub, it doesnt start automatically. Some of the plug-ins are also Windows only, not on Mac. Otherwise, love this thing.

Stream Deck puts 15 LCD keys at your fingertips for ultimate studio control. Simply tap to switch scenes, launch media, tweet your feats and more. Personalize your keys with custom icons or choose from hundreds, and get visual feedback every time you execute a command. With Stream Deck, maximize your production value and focus on what matters most: Your audience. Interface Integrated USB 2.0 cable.
