I purchased Elgato Stream Deck XL 32 buttons is working very well, the finish of its structure is matte and the animations that are placed either gifs or videos are more fluid as they have better optimized the system, I had bought Stream Deck 15 buttons and decided to fucionarlo / paste it as seen in the pictures getting an integration of the 2 accessories. What strikes me is that in the XL the buttons have a yellow contrast, since the Stream Deck of 15 buttons the contrast is blue, at the beginning it bothered me a little to see the buttons yellowish but now I am used to the contrast generated by the light of the streamdeck. This contrast or color change is not mentioned in the reviews or the youtube videos, it would be nice if someone could tell me. Anyway the functionality has been excellent, I started with 15 buttons but the 32 has been excellent. I suggest you buy the XL as it is an excellent purchase.

I dont do streaming so my use is less of what it is marketed for. I already had a 15 button Elgato Stream Deck and have found that it required too many button pushes for my process. I do extensive freelance 3D presentation graphics mostly in Rhino and have my manual process fairly refined. Using the Stream Deck has given me back screen real estate as I dont need as many Icon menus anymore. I tried the smaller Stream Deck initially out of curiosity and fell in love with it so I decided to buy the larger unit (32 button unit). The larger unit provides me with over 2 times the commands per page and as a side benefit the smaller unit can control the page display for the larger unit. I have spent the time creating custom icons for all the Rhino/Affinity/Coding commands and now have shortened my processes by at least half. Also, my deliverables are consistent project to project. I really love this thing. Best money I ever spent. I have programmed all my Affinity apps into it as well as coding snippets for when I write code. Saves a tremendous amount of typing (and mistakes). I have programmed my frequent Websites into one page for simple access and my favorite YouTube channels into another. This thing can also control security cameras which I will do soon. Its amazing how many things I have automated with this thing. Possibilities are only limited by your imagination. I use Mac computers and this has functioned flawlessly. There is quite a following on line. Love it.

I have been using the Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 for a variety of tasks, such as video production with OBS, facilitating Zoom meetings, and podcasting. While the product is truly innovative and has been a great addition to my setup, it does have a significant bug that needs addressing. The 15 customizable LCD keys are a fantastic feature, allowing me to instantly control my apps, tools, and platforms with ease. The one-touch operation makes triggering single or multiple actions incredibly simple, and the visual feedback confirms that my commands are executed successfully. The Stream Deck MK.2 also boasts compatibility with powerful plugins like Elgato 4KCU, OBS, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Discord, Spotify, and Philips Hue, making it an indispensable tool for content creators. The hotkey actions streamline workflows in film editing, music production, and photography. However, I have encountered a major issue when using multiple monitors in certain circumstances. My Stream Deck often freezes up, and attempting to end the process and restart it in Windows 11 does not resolve the problem. The only solution Ive found is rebooting my computer, which can be quite inconvenient. Despite this bug, Im giving the Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 a four-star rating because of its immense potential and usefulness when it functions correctly. I believe that Elgato will address this issue in future updates, making it an even more powerful tool for streamers and content creators. Overall, the Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 is a fantastic concept with room for improvement. Once the freezing issue is resolved, I have no doubt that it will become an indispensable tool for streamers and content creators everywhere.

Im not a streamer, youtuber, or anything like that, but this controller is exactly what i was looking for. When it comes to launching games, web pages, controlling volume, even my goovee lights, this thing is a dream. A bit tricky to figure out the programming at first but got it in no time. Highly suggest to anyone and everyone who has a pc (the multi taskers)

TL;DR: The Elgato Stream Deck is a streamers new best friend. With the push a button, adding a GIF, sound effect, tweet, or scene change, it takes a stream to the next level. 15 customizable buttons with screens for each button make for not only a beautiful piece of equipment that can proudly be displayed on a desk, but a highly functional one. You can create folders for even MORE options, so youre not just limited to the 15 buttons you see. As a casual streamer, this is a fun product for me to play around with. For full-time streamers, this is the new holy grail pieces of equipment. Initial thoughts: Out of the box, the Elgato stream deck is a sleek design with adjustable dock which is really nice, allowing for it to sit at different angles rather than just flat on a desk. The matte black is another plus because I dislike shiny black products due to the glaring fingerprints that show up. The buttons have a nice feel to push, not feeling cheap at all but quiet as well. Setup: I plugged it directly into my PC (instructions say not to use a USB hub so make sure you put it directly into the PC!) and it lit up with the *new* Elgato logo (which I love by the way). I went to the site listed in the instructions to download the Stream Deck app. Installation was easy and setup within just a couple minutes. The software/product: The first thing I tested was the tweet feature. You connect your Twitter account, type your message, and just by pushing the button - VOILA - the tweet is sent. I typically set my tweets up ahead of time and push them on my phone once Im live but this is SO MUCH EASIER! You can even set up Twitch messages to the chat - great for using your commands without having to type them! The software has a great design, the button layout on the left and the different types of programs/websites (GameCatpure, OBS, Twitch, Twitter, etc) on the right with the function to collapse the ones you dont use. There is also a hot key feature that I want to test out more thorougly and if possible use for drawing in Photoshop. I use my Razer Naga mouse buttons but only a few of them for shortcuts. Having the Stream Deck along with the Naga will make for getting around Photoshop much quicker! I opened up OBS to test the scene switching, something that Im pretty slow at doing when having to alt tab out of a game and find OBS manually. It immediately accessed all my scenes without me having to do a thing. Switching scenes has never been easier. There is even ways to change audio on OBS and multimedia with the Stream Deck. In the end, this product is 100% geared towards streamers and knows what streamers want and need. Amazing product, definitely worth the price, and I cant wait to see if more integration with other sites become available.

Love this deck. I use it mainly for hotkeys for work and it takes alot of typing out of my day through hotkeys and scripts. Also works great if you are doing any type of webcasting/recording/etc. Custom buttons and Icons are great. Integration with other applications as well is a plus. Might go for the bigger one later.

The unit does a great job, its just annoying that it cannot simply do basic interaction. For example, I use Voicemeeter which is best controlled by the Macro Buttons application. Thats nothing more than on-screen buttons ; so itd be nice if you could simply scope the button to the on-screen area and emulate a tap/click, as an example. Hot keys work, but theyre buggy and not reliable. Once I downloaded the specific plug-in for Macro Buttons it worked great. Just not a fan of having to install different plug-ins rather than tap/click emulation which would work with any program.

I’ve been contemplating getting a streamdeck for a while now and I’m so happy I finally decided to get it. Streaming is SO much easier now that I can trigger several actions with just a single button. I highly recommend this to anyone that finds themselves constantly going into their obs/streamlabs to adjust their scenes and sources while live. The only negative thing I should say is that mine arrived with a broken seal and without a box. I found it strange that the shipping label was pasted onto the streamdeck box itself and shipped out like that, but everything was clearly brand new and still works perfectly.

Using the folders option you can optimize the use of this thing even if you arent a streamer. You can load this thing up with options such as game launchers or use it to control your discord chat; or even use it to launch favorite web pages.

so this is for those of you streamer pals. I cannot express to you enough how much of a game changer this is. now granted if youre low on money hold off on it. but if youre really trying to invest in production quality this is a requirement imo. I will say, as a streamer who focuses heavily on multiple interactions ect I have had trouble deciding which things to fit on it. so Id honestly go for the bigger one with 32 buttons. but its the same as this product, just more buttons and a better base. If you do decide to get this, you will see immediate changes to quality of life and overall stream productions ect. happy streaming! -Zaitohro
