> 24 hourYes, we have fire extinguishers, but these blankets are a great addition to emergency supplies. There is no reason they shouldn’t work as fiberglass is very heat resistant. The fact that it is simple is a plus. They are easy to remove from the bag and easy to keep within reach. We’ve put them in the kitchen, workroom and vehicles. As the package says – hope you never need this – but it’s a good thing to have.

> 24 hourFortunately I haven’t had to use this for its intended purpose yet. I like to leave reviews only for items I have tried out, but in this case I’m glad the opportunity hasn’t arose. The material seems like it should work for its intended purpose. It has a reinforced hole for hanging, and the pull straps make it easy to remove the blanket quickly. It’s supposed to be for putting out fires, but it probably could also be used as an emergency blanket for warmth if needed.

> 24 hourI found this set to be quite nice. The fire blanket looks to be sturdy and well made. Though I hope I will never have to use this, I believe that if I do, this will help to either put out the fire or keep what is wrapped in it safe. The size is great for smothering a small fire or for wrapping a child in it. Looking at it, I believe I could wrap my young 4 year old in it and keep him safe from any flames if needed. It is also nice that this came in a four pack for it allows you to store them at strategic places within the home or even keep one in your vehicle while also around the home.

> 24 hourI have not tested this blanket on a fire. Yet, it feels like it will do the job well. It is compact, but heavy and thick. It is easy to keep around the kitchen. And it does not have an expiration date and be replaced every couple of years, unlike chemical fire extinguishers.

> 24 hourThe blanket is securely held in a easy to transport or easy to hang package, and it would be good to keep these in a place youll remember to find it. The tabs that stick out of the bottom are for pulling out the blanket quickly, and this would work well in an emergency situation. The blanket is large and should be enough to protect most full size adults. This should also be able to suppress a small flame if needed. Good to keep one in the kitchen and keep another around for the car. We are happy to have this on hand.

> 24 hourI used one of these when my PItboss tabletop pellet grill caught fire (too much oily goo that I hadnt cleaned). It was easy to use and effective at cutting the wind that was supplying oxygen and feeding the fire. Theyre made with fiberglass so I wasnt really able to fold it and put it back in the bag - I tried using tongs but they didnt afford me the dexterity to fold, so I just got another one.

> 24 hourPlay as pictured, and it has a nice sturdy reinforced hole to hang the blanket from so that it is handy in case of emergency. I didn’t take it out because I am afraid I won’t be able to get it back in right for when I really need to use it, however, it comes with two thick, black straps that stick out the bottom so you can grab and pull and it should pop out the bottom. This is a good value, and it is smart to be prepared just in case. better safe than sorry. I would definitely recommend Adulting and ordering one to have in your home. I keep one in the kitchen and one upstairs in the hall closet.

> 24 hourI got these in several places around the house just in case the unthinkable happens! These are great to put on top of a small fire before it does major damage. We have them hanging on hooks and everyone knows where to get them and how to use them. We also have fire extinguishers, but this seems so much more simple to use than that. These are a Great value and the quality is Great!
