Greater than one weekOrdered this fire blanket to have on hand for emergency use. I like how it is packaged in a bright red vinyl case to be easy to find when you need it, and very sturdy with an easy to open velcro closure. Its compact enough that it fits perfectly in one of my utensil drawers next to the range top of my oven - it will be at my fingertips if / when needed. For the low price this blanket is giving me a lot of peace of mind. Recommended.

Greater than one weekI cant comment right now on the actual functionality of this blanket as I thankfully have not had any fires I have had to put out, but from what I have read this is a pretty basic item that is good to keep around. It is compact (about 12 x 8 when folded), doesnt expire, easy to use (just put it over the fire to smother it out), and can be used on any small fire including grease. With these benefits and the fact that these are fairly inexpensive, I cant see why anybody would *not* get at least one of these.

> 3 dayI heard the fire blanket on line, and think to have one for my kitchen. I have been looking for this for a while, found this one with reasonable price. By touching it, feels like not that steady. I was expecting stronger than this.

> 3 dayI keep one in our truck, one or two in the kitchen, and keep them easy to access in any area (my shop) where an open flame is being used. Easy to grasp and remove from hanging storage, unfold and quickly deploy. I use one when Ive done some landscaping burns on our meadow for use in managing the work and having another fire snuffing tool at hand. Very effective.

> 3 daySturdy product. I have not actually used in the setting of a large fire but I did try holding a small flame to it. Material is sturdy and, as described, was not ignited by the flame. I highly recommend this item; it is something that should be on hand. Especially if you have little kids.

> 3 dayHopefully I will never be able to find out how well these fire blankets work. I have placed them in our linen closet so if there should ever be a need for them, hopefully we can get to them quickly and utilize them. They do come packaged well and in a compact case with a grommet so you can hang it up.

> 3 dayThese fiberglass sheets are of good size and thickness, large enough to cover the body of an 8 year old child. They feel textured and itchy to the skin because of the material. I bought them as a precaution and the price seemed affordable to have a little security in case of a fire.

> 3 dayI got these in several places around the house just in case the unthinkable happens! These are great to put on top of a small fire before it does major damage. We have them hanging on hooks and everyone knows where to get them and how to use them. We also have fire extinguishers, but this seems so much more simple to use than that. These are a Great value and the quality is Great!
